i prefer counting up cause thats what i am used to. but since we got the item timers in the spec hud i dont care much about ;)

Needs to count up for sure.
I like to time sometimes while I watch, can not do that for shit when its counting down.

And even worse in overtime when it suddenly changes, what the hell.

personally I don't care but counting down is better for people who don't watch much quake, timing is done by item timers.

imo that would just confuse them even more if it hits overtime and starts counting up.

On my stream i had the timer counting up.. i play with that settings. but most specs want to see the timer counting down.. I know am0kchen told me very often to let the timer counting up, but i will let it counting down.. if there are new viewer they exactly see how much time is left. It is ok and most time we have the item timer (like nukm says it)

however, id made it so all the newbies are used to having it count down, so it might not be the smartest decision to follow the oldschoolers here.

Need a " don't care " option.

I can use both, and actually use up ( just in case I actually play tdm ) but it feels more logical to me to know the remaining time rather than the elapsed time.

A "don't care" option would mean that none of the other answers suit me and that I don't really care about the point of the oll.
