I have nothing to add to this. We spent half of the day in this lounge btw, it was a bit boring most of the time, but if you want food, that's where it's at.
We're here at the European Cyber Games with harle. I am doing GGL coverage, he is shoutcasting on stage (with me). Here's a gallery of our adventures so far. Enjoy!
The police in Germany does not drive normal volkswagens or anything. If you see the police in a German street you are bound to see a vehicle like this one. Fortunately, many of them are really helpful and friendly.
This is the face of the German WC3 shoutcaster. He was a bit pissed off too, at the stupidity of the people listening to the shoutcast. When he said: no CS games today, he got instant pm's from CS fans asking what time do the games start, and no, they did not mean tomorrow.
The Swiss UT2004 player. He was a pissed off at his country flag being a little bit rectangular instead of square, but I swear it's the fault of the Swiss! Would anyone sane come up with an idea for a square flag?
The European Cyber Games has started. The matches will have shoutcast and many should also be streamed in video. Gamer-FM supported by several guests is providing that coverage. The addresses of the streams are to be found at the following address:
Unfotrunately, I do not know the schedule for the casted games. The only thing I know at the moment is that Lauke was supposed to play Falcon on stage but most of the players forgot their peripherals. Because of this all tournaments but SC were postponed until tomorrow. You can find out more in this GGL post.

No, man, this jacket is definitely not orange.
On the first night wheat was running around the place looking for a phone to call his wife (Cooller actually thinks it's trillian) and only rested when they had a long chat.

prodx, brescia (yellow hat), blokey and fazz. Notice the wristband on brescia. If you look through this gallery you will notice a lot of that on many players. Wheat gave away a ton of GGL wristbands at the event.

One of the more important persons in Ligarena, although I have no idea what his name is and what he does :(. He has cool glasses, though. Jay trying to pick up some moves in the third pic.

Princeton, zulg, Memetic, socrates, brescia. Like socrates, brescia is always smiling, doesn't matter if you talk a lot of shit in broken Danish about his mom in her presence or not...

I found out in France that fox plays with his headphones put on the other way around and can't play otherwise... Someone told us that if you actually do a Quake sound behind fox and to his left, he would turn right. It didn't work.

Sam looks like Elvis in this picture. On the right we have Memeric (one of the coolest UT players out there) and below wheat is a Dutch CS mysod f****t who was a jerk to prodx and wanted a fight.

Jay was late for his flight, had some trouble getting to Paris and spent a TON of money on taxis that were driving him around in circles. One of the coolest guys out there.

Here's where most of the armwrestling competitions took place. Left to right: brescia, dreg, Russian CS girl, redemz with his back towards the camera and Hell next to him, Cooller, blokey, Jay, prodx, RaZa.

Zen is having a laugh. I don't know what the hell is wrong with wheat, shouldn't he be taking pictures of the funny stuff instead of just random people laughing?

That's the WireWeight I won off wheat in the very very famous and exhilarating UT2004 match. He has a chance to win it back next time, this time Q3, UT and PainKiller (if we need a decider).

Lord Fuck (hilarious guy), Hell, prodx and socrates holding the French ESWC guy. Seems like he's enjoying himself and I don't see where Hell's hands are.
