GaRpY, on the other hand, will have to defeat forever in two best-of-five matches to be the winner of this cup. The Dutch man only needs to win one bo5.

forever did defeat GaRpY in the 3rd round of the upper bracket. The strong current shape of the Dutch player makes him the clear favourite to win this final game. Since GaRpY will have to defeat forever in two bo5 matches, forever only needs one bo5. With that advantage, the young Dutch star should not be too much worried. Even if GaRpY has been a DM player for years (with HL, PK and Q4) and competed in some of the most prestigious events, I'm sure he knows that it will be a very hard match.

Needless to say, it is in fact the British player who considerably improved over the past couple of weeks. It raises one question and one question only. Will GaRpy finally be able to step it up and take a grand title for his team Alltherage? Anyway, we are now sure that the English man can play with his very own gear, which delayed this EuroCup final at first. However, I'm very sure that he improved a lot since the last time he played against forever (which was about 2 months ago). So let's hope that Gareth can give a tough battle to Ivo or he will drown on the first bo5!

Tonight GaRpY and Cs3^ will have to battle to be the challenger in the Grande Final.
We already saw Tuesday that GaRpY isn't in a bad shape and I'm very sure that Cs3^ has been practicing much lately. Now that they're playing for money, these two guys will try anything to win and I doubt that any of them will want to forfeit or won't show.
So, theorically, the favorite so far in this match would be Cs3^: He only lost in the Upper Bracket final to forever and he managed to defeat j4rno while GaRpY didn't make it with the finnish player.
But now, if you consider that GaRpY had the opportunity to play with some of the best players on LAN and that he gave a serious hard time to fazz in his last match: there is no point to compare him to what he was 3 months ago in Quake 4!
I'm very sure that Cs3^ is a strong player, but the lack of experience should be his weakness tonight. Anyway he's a suprise in this Lower Brack final and I'm sure he can worry GaRpY!

Both of these players lost only 2 (played) matches so far in this cup. forever managed to defeat them so GaRpY and fazz will have the opportunity to have a revenge. But only if one of them can beat Cs3^ in the Lower Bracket final.

Considering the past results of these two players, GaRpY seems to be the one in the best shape. And even if he still didn't get all his gear back from an english event, he did a really great job in the 4q4 fun cup. For fazz, that's another story. I know he's been hanging out a lot in a casino lately. So I'm not sure he had enough time to practise. If he's used to the 1.3 PR, that would be a great stuff!

GaRpY will be my favorite tonight, but let's hope the swedish guy will make him fight until the very last seconds of the match.

Theorically, winz would be the favorite in this match against fazz. But I highly doubt that he trained Quake 4 these last days and I'm not even sure that he's tried 1.3 yet. fazz would have a chance to win this match if he adapted to the gameplay changes since his last match versus Cs3^. So I just hope that those two guys are used to 1.3 now. Else we might have a "funny" match!

While Ninjas in Pyjamas’s presence in the quarter-finals was expected, ID Gaming’s one wasn’t. Both teams won two matches by “no show”, Ninjas in Pyjamas in the first and last matches and ID Gaming in the two last ones.

ID Gaming ended the group stage in third due to a 17-13 defeat in their first EuroCup match against Team NoA. Having benefit from fnatic and Raw Gaming forfeit wins they will have a hard task beating Ninjas in Pyjamas.

Ninjas in Pyjamas powerhouse is well known and very strong but yet not unbeatable and Team Pentagram proved that already this EuroCup, winning de_inferno by 16-14. Nevertheless they placed first in Group D and are surely confident on going beyond quarter-finals.

Checksix started this EuroCup against goodgame and not as they wished, losing dust2 by a score of 20-22. In the next group matches they overwhelm RESET, in a balanced match defeated Man1a.XPLODE, forfeit won play.it and in a close match they lost the chance for the top group spot against plan-B. They lost their place in the Upper Bracket in the last match against Virtus.pro (by a score of 2-1) and won the two matches before that, versus x6tence.AMD and H2k-Gaming.

wisdom Nerve victory lost in the group phase against Virtus.pro in nuke and were heavily beaten by intensity (formerly Bizounours) in train. They showed they don’t need to be stated as superior or favorites to win a match, winning mTw.expekt against all the odds. Since they lost against Soa in th Upper Bracket Playoffs, they beat a-Losers.MSI and Man1a.XPLODE.

The odds split the wining probabilities but is Checksix that collects the trust of the majority of the bets. This will surely be another match you cannot miss and because of that GIGA2 will broadcast this match.
