Despite just a couple of days practice and the fact he almost didnt come to Qcon, Ztrider once again showed us just how talented he is by claiming the cash in the 2v2 and some extra pocket money in the 1v1.

Top 5 again was not perhaps as good as some expected after his sensational 2nd place at ESWC last month, but it did at least confirm that ESWC was no fluke.

Top 8 at ESWC and Top 8 (arguably in a tougher field) here at Quakecon means this man is turning out to be very consistent.

Jibo watches on as Fatal1ty battles it out with the 15 year old boy wonder... and loses.
Not the best of weekends.

3rd place was small reward (in the 2v2) for Jibo who played really well throughout the TDM tournament.

He was super relaxed and looked super fit all weekend, but even the Russian Trojan Horse couldnt batter down the Toxic Fortress.
2nd place for the 4th time this year is small consolation as his Quake 4 throne is challenged fully by the Swede.

I shared the flight from Chicago to London with Garpy and although we spoke about a few things, he couldnt really put his finger on why he just cant break into that elusive top 8.

First tournament outside europe, first major lan tournament, 15 years old, a lower bracket match against Fatal1ty and he had to look after Forever whilst he was in Dallas.
