It's time to hand out the
Kaspersky Award at DreamHack again. The Kaspersky Award is supposed to go to the player with the most entertaining play style, from a spectator point of view.
At DreamHack Summer 2010, where it was handed out for the first time,
fazz received it for his performance during the competition. At that time, the players from the same tournament got to vote who they thought should get it.
This time it's different. The vote is in your hands, the ones who followed the whole tournament through different sites and streams covering the tournament.
The voting will close today at 09:00 CST!

We ran out of an active poll! And nobody was willing to answer
no_il's poll request for 3 months now. I guess it's time someone do it.
"I want to make a poll where people can rate on a 1-6 scale (in order from best to worst[1 being the best, 6 being the worst]) their opinion regarding Which of the six new duel maps are best for competitve play."
The good part is that there was enough time to properly test the maps: Aerowalk, Battleforge, Dismemberment, Focal Point, Hektik, Phrantic.
Go rank now!

"COLUMN: A Year in Pro Gaming" - 2004 review by carmac
http://web.archive.org/web/20050211233931/htt...single/564
Quake 3 wasn't picked up in major tournaments anymore (excepted ESWC), CPL was in a fun period before the PK World Tour, players were dumber than ever, commentators were getting dissed and carmac was criticizing how the players' money was handled. Also, it was the year of the most failed tournament ever: the Cyber X Games 2004 by Chris "recon" Hill!
Did I mention ESReality was down at this time?
Enjoy the comments as well (I couldn't agree more with #144), there are plenty of replies from CPL's staff and players : ]
