Hi there Americans (and other ESreality users feeling obliged to read this journal entry)!
What is the best gaming ISP in the San Francisco area, just based on low latency?
I moved from the land where internet is like LAN and blonde girls beg you to have sex with them all the time, (yes, I am of course talking about Sweden) to San Francisco, CA, USA in May last year. It was a work-related move. Right now I have comcast which... well... I haven't really been tempted to try much FPS games online lately, partly because I lost the touch with all the homies back in Sweden and the IRC culture over there, but also because the times I have tried it has been more than frustrating (latency wise).
The reason why I am asking around now is that I want to be prepared for when Quake Live comes out and maybe play an hour or two online again.
I haven't looked around that much to be honest so any feedback is appreciated.

Well, soon was a relative term here... first there were a couple of matches in the losers bracket that had to be played. This time we used more of a budget version card board.

Kind of like all the other arcade games, but this one requires some drumming-skills. The guy who is sitting there when I snapped this photo was doing the songs on the most difficult level and it almost looked like it was easy... almost...

... and it's Purri's time to be the pro. Here he's actually playing FFA with two of united newbs: mo_of_swe and rvd. The fourth player was [FOE]OoZe. Needless to say, Purri had some more resistance then Fatality had the day before. Carmac closest to the camera and the shoutcaster to the left.

How to play back Q3 demosThis is [EYE]ironbyte playing a pickup-game. It's basically a massacre. It could be argued that the demo is not worth watching because of the following:
1) "Teh other team suckz, they're newbs walking straight forward 'n that. I can own 'I can win' bots that way tooo, u know!"
2) Some members of the opposite team stops playing after about 12 minutes.
3) "Ironbyte isn't all +forward. He is all sneaky n' stuff! That sucks!"
4) "ospdm6 sucks!"
5) "Ironbyte is a quad-whore, taking 8 of the 10 quads. If I had quad all the time, don't you think that I'd do that kind of damage?!"
5) It's just a slaughter.
The arguments why anyone should watch this:
