Hey guys i will need little help with QuakeCon 2016 frag movie, so i dont have time to watch demos since i am busy with other things around FACEIT, i would be very grateful if you guys could help me around getting timestamps of frags.
"Some experimental physics that I slapped together in Xonotic. It's essentially Quakeworld with more air control and acceleration. Step height is similar to default Xonotic, which allows you to glide stairs without losing speed. You can also wallstrafe and get a huge boost, however the angles are bit different and you can't do it with your feet off the ground as easily.
Keep in mind that you don't gain speed by simply moving forward, you need to turn and steer in ground/air and there's an optimal curve that gets you the most speed. The physics are easy to learn and it's about as fast paced as you are.
Put it to your config folder or xonotic-data.pk3 and and write "exec physicsCIX.cfg" to console. You're obviously gonna need Xonotic as well. " - Smilecythe

We are currently investigating a crash bug with the dedicated server software -- please send any crash reports.
Known Bugs:
Cloth occasionally vanishes -- just treat it as "Capture The Pole" until it comes back.
This is a huge release so expect this list to grow. Please send all crash reports!
Getting a few crash reports in the new occlusion engine. You can use r_occlusion 0 to disable it as a workaround for now.

Overwatch Live Gameplay Streams
Today's the big day, our first glance at Overwatch being played live on Twitch! Ellohime and HayliNic streamed the game live from Blizzard HQ along with 10 of Overwatch's developers. We've recapped the stream below which includes notes, screenshots, and at the end, links to the recorded gameplay videos from the broadcasts.
General
No single player campaign.
There are cards displayed at the end of the game displaying who got the best in a certain stat. You can vote for which one should win. These are purely fluff for now.Since the game isn't a deathmatch, they want to highlight how you are helping your team instead of just raw kills on the scoreboard. They would be honored if some of the Overwatch characters showed up in Heroes of the Storm.
Maps
Dorado is a new Payload style map which was revealed today. The object to transport is a truck. Screenshots can be found below.
Beta
They don't know how many people will be invited to Beta. They want enough people to engage with the game and generate enough useful feedback to make the best game possible.Stress tests will be a reduced version of the game but with a ton of people.
Nothing firm about EU beta yet. They are only committed to getting North America up right now.No information on payments will be available today.
Cosmetics
Skins are being considered for inclusion in the game. They are a very popular request.
There is a cosmetic progression system which currently rewards character portraits, different sprays, and skin tints.
Historically, sprays are a way to "tag" the map with a picture / symbol.
Gameplay
There will be in-game emotes for team communication. Hit a button, a menu will pop up, and you'll get options. Ultimate Status and healing requests are a part of this. You don't keep your kill streak when resurrected.
Technical
They're not ready to announce minimum system requirements. They're zeroing in on it, but they still have lots of room for optimizations.
Controller support will be added eventually, but PC experience is the focus right now.Blizzard will host all servers for the game.
They've got through a lot of revisions on the scoreboard.
In-Game Tips
These tips come from balloons which pop up in-game on the right side of your screen when you respawn.
Try to keep a height advantage over Junkrat, he's much less effective if he has to aim up.
Enemy barriers can block the shots from Deadeye.Sometimes it is better to aim at the ground under your target than to attempt a direct hit.Keep moving while McCree is around, or you'll be an easy target for his Peacekeeper.Don't pass up good opportunities to use Barrage while waiting for the "perfect" one. While Molten Core is active, you do not spend scrap to upgrade Turrets or deploy armor packs.Reaper is most effective at very close range. Keep him at a distance. When you are charged with high energy, play aggressively with your now highly damaging particle cannon.
Hey guys! Here are all vods from twtich, some of them lag a bit but thats cuz of hotels internet issues.I will sort everything on youtube soon as get access to it, until then you will need to wait.
I have been getting asked about headphones a lot lately (most likely because of the Tek Syndicate series of videos?) so I thought I would make a little guide on what headphones and mics I like and when coupled together what will give you a kickass gaming experience.
Another worthy mention (especially for the soundstage) is the ATH-AD900X and ATH-AD700X (though I prefer the 900X over the 700). These will give you very good soundstage for the dollar as well, though as I have stated in the past I am not a big fan of the AT house sound.

REDEMPTION BLOG
by Kevin Tweedale
Nickname: tweeday (alias Mrtweeday) – NiP Film/Video Producer – Cut/Camera/Director
And here we go again, the feels coming out while starting of writing a 5th blog for a full-length Counter-Strike:Global offensive film of mine are overwhelming! It is just an amazing feeling looking back at hundreds of work hours, of days of preparation prior to the event, thinking about the event that was one of the greatest experiences – ESL One Cologne 2014. The start of the blog already feels super nice, doesn’t it? Well now that i already got you let me write about my experience in Cologne, a bit about my travel, how it all went down and last but not least a short breakdown of how i actually feel about things.
The travel itself started a day prior to the event, get in the car – driving to the local train station that i am scarily familiar with nowadays – hopping onto the train. Something was totally different though, no plane! (Laughs) But after all a 6 hour travel to Cologne went quick, quicker than the usual travel. At the train station i got picked up by Melly, drove with her to the ESL Studios – entered a Shuttle to Gamescom and spent some hours there talking to the Valve Devs, nice ESL Lads and just generally checked out Gamescom as i couldn’t check-in at that time. After some minor misunderstandings with the hotel that was booked i smoothly went to the hotel. It was weird as supposedly nobody was there so i took a nap just to learn when the guys arrived that Pita was hiding from me all the time in his room also taking a nap. I struggled completely tired downstairs, welcomed new faces and familiar faces all with a happy smile – a dinner to seal the „reunion“ and then bedtime already after preparing the first day of the groupstages which would turn out to be a short one.
The first day felt like another day at the office so to say, camera set-up and everything went smooth. As expected we could beat the Indians which could’ve turned out to be a surprise package but luckily it went as expected in our favour. One match played and the day was already over so we transferred back to the hotel after a couple of chats, photos with the fans and a general greetings with all of the other teams, players, managers and people from ESL. Back at the hotel i set-up my interview equipment in GeT_RiGhT’s room as he has had the biggest one, so we had enough room to film properly even though the light turned out to be a bit tricky. I am really glad to be working with such a group of talented people as the interviews went quick – clean and easy as i was already used to it by DreamHack Winter 2013 and EMS Katowice 2014. They turned up, we went through it as fast as possible and it was done. The only one that had some minor struggles was Pita, but hey he isn’t used to a German asking him weird questions so you can’t blame him! I am already looking forward right now to get my hands on Maikelele and see how he will do (laughs).
As always i can really be thankful that the team is investing their free time to do things with me and hopefully, i really can only hope that the movie will in the end be worth it for them.
The following days wrapped up: I have never in my life seen so many close games, it was on the one hand amazing and on the other hand really exhausting from my point of view; i had to sit down a lot during the actual quarter-final vs Cloud9 after already 2 filmed games and waiting time beyond what i am used to. The filming however went smooth and luckily i had another guy assisting me in it which was „namely“ ‘anyNoob’ – which i more than appreciated; he did an amazing job and he should definately be proud of the work he did there. The food in Cologne was really great after that aswell, some Vapiano, some food in the hotel’s own restaurant – at the very least it was usually always fresh and nice, not to mention the salad of Vapiano was just amazing and will always have a place in my heart when i am in Cologne for events!
The last day knocked on our doors, everyone was excited and you could really feel the players getting pumped up and they were ready as never before. By watching the movie you should re-live the moments we went through hopefully, 2 tough map-losses, 4 really close map wins to ultimately win the tournament and honestly i could feel the joy from all the NiP players, our CEO, HeatoN and all the staff that went alongside us at that very moment. It was truly great. NO. It was truly, truly amazing. The ESL TV crew alongside ReDeYe and carni really helped me by putting me in the right directions, they were open to discuss about some things further and we always ended up so it would benefit both and i wouldn’t interfere with their plans. ESL’s communication and ultimate handling with PR and most importantly to me – working with me – is just unique and a lot of events should take not only a bait but actually just recruit most of ESL’s staff i guess ;-)!
The venue itself was crazy, so many fans, so many viewers that wanted to get in – despite the stage and the actual arena not being massive as we all had Katowice in mind, the feeling and the atmosphere still was breathtaking.
After grouping up together, sorting the last bits of footage and giggles together – waving goodbye to my fellows over at HLTV.org, fragbite and all the nice chaps in the Press Area the whole NiP Crew gathered up to have some extremely good mexican food (which i by the way visited twice again when i went to EPS Finals – it is just so damn good!). Unfortunately i wasn’t able to drink anything at that very night due to what you now may now – my Physique contest preparation so i called it an early night.
Ultimately i just want to say a big thank you to Petter for all his assisting, help and the great time we had together aswell as Emil, Per and the players even if they scratch the corner of their eye they always tag along and do things for me and in a fashion that you couldn’t really ask for more. I admire them big time! Thanks a lot you all! Obviously thanks to the guys at home that helped with coverage and planning!!
I appreciate every single one of you that read this until the end, that watched movie.
TL;DR:
Thanks for watching, thanks to everyone of you that supports my efforts, my work and my dedication. I couldn’t be more happy to be able to pursue my passion and my dream…
Thanks to our partners and sponsors that make this all happen; also providing me with sick stuff! Thanks Xtrfy, Komplett, EIZO, Crucial, GUNNAR and AKRacing!
Hope you enjoy the movie and see you next in Sweden for DreamHack Winter 2014!

World of Padman (WoP) is an open source first-person shooter computer game available in both English and German. Originally it was a modification for the game Quake III Arena titled PadMod created in the year 2004. After the source code for Quake III Arena was released, the game became standalone.[1] The idea is based on the Padman comic strip for the magazine PlayStation Games created by the professional cartoon artist Andreas 'ENTE' (German for "Duck") Endres, who is also the man who made many of the maps included with the game in 1998. The current version runs on an enhanced version of the ioquake3 engine, which is based on the Quake III Arena engine.
Gameplay
World of Padman was originally a mod for Quake III Arena, so most of the gameplay is similar. However, there is no Capture the Flag mode in World of Padman. World of Padman supports bots with a variety of skill levels in both online and offline play for all of the game types included. A single-player campaign has not yet been implemented however bots allow off-line multiplayer games. Players can also record audio and video as they play. The game fully supports modifications, and custom maps can be created.
In World of Padman, players die when they run out of health. Players can restore their health at a loading station or with the power-up 'revival' unlike in other games. In World of Padman there are no health items to collect.
Besides widespread game types like Tournament, Free For All and Team Deathmatch, World of Padman features three uncommon game types: Spray Your Color (spray a logo on the walls in the sprayroom), Big Balloon (similar to Unreal Tournament’s Domination), and Last Pad Standing. As the mod for Quake III Arena, World of Padman offered Capture the Flag for the PadCrash map, unlike the standalone version.
You had to wait a long time, far too long already. But now the time has come, WoP, in version 1.5, is available for download - for Windows and Linux. The Mac users have to wait a little bit longer unfortunately, but, rest assured, we haven't forgotten you!
We had planned to publish WoP 1.5 within this year and had to work on it until the very last second. We didn't even have the the time to advertise our new version the same way we usually do with a new release. This, of course, we are going to rectify in the very near future, so that the servers will fill up soon.
But those of you who are here to enjoy the new version, be warned that you get presented a completely new WoP. Countless things have been revised and partly modified. There is a new game type, new maps, new player models, a new weapon, new powerups and much more. You might be in for some surprises.
We would like to thank all of you for your loyalty over the last few years. We hope that you like the new WoP and that the long wait has paid off a little. We would also like to thank Eileen Heath, who stepped in at the last second to record the last missing sound files.
That's all we want to say for now. Grab the new version and have fun with it
Fragged by 3ulu4 is original and colorful work done by russian movie maker morgot. It has superb editing and nice config. You can see players like jibo, cooller, evil, k1llmaster, frozen, makaveli, element, nitrino, fortune, amai, ash, limon, jass and many lesser-known players. All frags were made in vq3 mod, so you will see a lot of fast action. In general, great movie with epic ending.
Hello, those of you who know me are prepared for what's coming. My new video from Quake 3 Arena: DeFRaG mode named JUMPING JUGGLERS. In this movie with a length of about 6 minutes there are demos played by the best CZ/SK DeFRaGers.
Music... again brisk DnB with perfect picture and music synchro. I took good care of choosing and creating filters for this movie. I think it's safe to say it's the best that can be seen from me today. The music goes nicely side by side with camera cuts and therefore I advise you to crank up the volume to fully enjoy the speed and power of this video. There is no blur in this video for better quality feeling of the game and picture.
Thank you for watching and I hope you enjoyed it. Don't forget to comment please.
This is the sequel to my popular "Coloris" fragmovie. I Decided to make it a little trilogy, so keep an eye out for #3 in the future. All the gameplay is mine that i have gathered over 3 months or so. Even ran out of clips and filled in some of the movie with VERY recent frags from a week through 2 weeks. None of the clips are faked or cheated.
Event Horizon 4 is coming! After a very successful first trilogy in the Event Horizon series, the fourth installment will be coming to you from the Shaolin Production basement! With rad mixes by the Shaolin monks and others, content by Team Event Horizon and editing by Wussie, Event Horizon 4 is something to look out for.
Han-sai production is introducing a new Quake 3 frag movie: The Wipeout. The movie contains 1v1 and CTF frags from various maps, not only dm6 and ztn :).
The movie shows the best frags out of 10 years of quake 3 from Wipe´s collection. Fortunately there are still enough lan partys out there to have fun, meet ppl and play some quake. Most of the frags are from various lan partys he visited all over germany, austria and switzerland in the past years.

Headz'up is new frag movie coming from han-sai.productions kitchen.
The chef of this fine dish is Djordje ' ZeRoQL ' Simonovic.
I made this movie in 3 days, from 16 till 18 September.
Movie contains CTF frags, nothing u didnt allready saw , but ey its fun to watch good old OSP style CTF.
Krz` says: didnt like the GL skin tho :p rbk says: hey great movie rbk says: intense, good mood rbk says: makes me want to play quake lol burn3d says: anyway headz up is a good movie, sexy editing
At first it supposed to be another youtubish clip on the net showing of my demos. But then other people got involved into the project so it became a sequel for the so called sinex'' trickography. This is why the quality is quite poor for todays standards, so don''t bug me about it.
Anyway I'm happy i involved these people in. So what you're about to witness is these ''glitchy'' edited tricks mixed with 3 different genre soundtracks. And most probably this is the last NGA productions project.
