How to play back Q4 demos


Originally played on thursday earlier this week, SK's toxic is taking on StR@NgEr on lost fleet. Both played strategically smart and forced the other to play at a high level in a pretty tense and tough game.

Apparently my new rig was stolen at the post office just before delivering, HEH, so no q4 for me until I make another order.

Tonight's the night though; 2-1 in favour of Barca, easy!

Earlier this spring, my cousin, who's studdying classical music at the university of gothenburg, gave me a bunch of free piano lessons. I never thought piano could be so bleeding fun. When a couple of friends started to record songs for what could possible become an album they wanted an intro made by a piano or synth for one of the songs... I gave it a try. It's not completely finished but it gives a pretty good idea of how it's supposed to be; we basically wanted to make it as chill as possible.

I'm doing the piano but some of those sequences are somewhat edited as we wanted it to fit better (the original demo of the piano recording sounds slightly different). The piano and the dazzling guitar beats are the only two "real" instruments being used. The rest, the mild atmospherical drumbeats and various programming are all made by computer (sounds made virtually in Logic Express or something) - my friends area. Also the switch around the 1:04 mark isn't fullproof and there are several other sequences that fail but hey we're far from perfect, it's still fun doing it.

Okay today I helped a friend to put his stupid boat in our local lake and right before we left from his house I grabbed his camera to take a shot featuring perhaps the craziest pose on earth; a pic of his ugly-looking cat. Also while we were down at the lake I got to meet the beautiful mr. Swan.

Muse - Stockholm Syndrome

A fresh movie from the Eurosports World Cup tournament '04 edition has been released, created by zouzou. The movie sequences are taken from all the all the different tournaments (CS, PK & Q3), unfortunately there is almost nothing from the WC3 tournament.

But that's not it. The movie maker decided to put some weight on things that happened outside the game. Footages from where the tourneys were being played, along with partying after the matches are two big parts in this picture.

About a year ago a movie was released featuring the famous clan zEx and their achievements from the ESWC. Now there is yet another fresh movie out there showing the team in action, made by Valentine (who also produced the GX3 movie).

The scenes are picked from Season 11 of CAL-1 and CPL Summer 2004. The intro is nice but one could easily say it's too long (3 min). There are both free look- and ineyes clips, combined in a good way.

Seven.Video has made a movie showing Q3A at its best. Filled with oldschool as well as new players from different tournaments such as WCG, CPL and ESWC.

Weights about 142mb and lasts for 6:36 minutes.

How to play back Q3 demos

This is one of PELEs last shows until he suddenly disappeared from the scene. Recorded from Ural Cup in Russia, late 2002. Never seen this demo here before so, voíla.

This is a lesson in how to utterly outsmart your enemy by keeping the map under your feets. (yaya, the opponent isnt't THAT good, but anyway).

Peles movements are rare aswell as they're worth watching.
