Last weekend QuakeCon had all our focus, but I couldn't help feeling that DreamHack Stockholm at least deserved a notice about the placements and a photo from the prize ceremony.
With only one map lost in the whole tournament, YYT|Calipt made his way to the final where he beat xlo^Nace 2-0 in maps.
Final placements:
1: Benjamin "YYT|Calipt" Jakob - 3 500 SEK (340 EURO)
2: Joakim "xlo^Nace" Ahfeldt - 1 000 SEK (98 EURO)
3: Karl "xlo^Karl1" Danielsson - 500 SEK (49 EURO)

Why not use some drink coasters for your cool or hot drinks? Perfect to use at a party if you don't want to get marks on your table, or when having a coffee in front of your computer. I created my own drink coasters yesterday and here is the result:

Here are two more interviews from ESWC Masters in Paris. Enjoy!
Interview with SK|Rapha
As one of the newer pla
yer Rapha hopes to gain a lot of experience from playing at ESWC Masters.
Interview with Noctis
DDK is interviewing Noctis in this video and Nocits just loves the camera. We were outside, so I hope you can hear it all even if it’s windy sometimes.

At ESWC Masters in Paris I made some video interviews and here are the first ones out. It takes a few days for Dailymotion to code the movies in high quality, so the ZeRo4 video is the only high quality now, but hopefully the others will be as good shortly.
Interview with ZeRo4
This interview was made early in the tournament where only a few games had been played. You get to know his opinions of the different Quake3 maps and what he has been up to last year.
Interview with Anouc
Anouc is an old school Quake pla
yer. At ESWC Masters she competed with her CS team Badgirlsclan and they won a spot an the ESWC Finals. She talks about her CS team and also about Quake Live.
Interview with Jibo
Jibo talks about how he has prepared for ESWC Masters and how he and Cooller will prepare for the next event.
**UPDATE
Interview with czm
The interview was made in the beginning of the tournament. Find out why czm prefers dm13 over nodm9 and how he as an old school pla
yer might have some advantages against the new school pla
yers.
http://www.dailymotion.com/tritoproductions/v...ideogames”>Interview with 4K^DDK
An interview with DDK while we were having lunch. This interview got banned from Dailymotion because of obscene language, so I had to censor it in this version. DDK has a unusual way to prepare for Quake 3 tournaments… He plays WarCraft 3.
Interview with fox
An interview with fox after the final game against Cypher. Fox talks about his games in the tournament. You will also get an answer to the question: “fox or fojji?”
I will have more interviews up in some days, uploading takes a while.

I grabbed my camera and went to DreamHack where the Swedish Quake 3 ESWC qualifier took place. I did some video interviews with the Quake pla
yers and you can watch them by following the li
nks below.
Interview with Prozac - Go here for the video
Prozac has been away from the scene for a while. In the interview he explains what he has been doing these last years. He also talks about his games against the new school pla
yers Arrw and Spartie. You will also find out why he doesn't think practicing with fox is the best way to prepare for a tournament.
Interview with fooKi - Go here for the video
fooKie is talking about why he is going back and forward from inactive to active and back again. He is also talking about his preparation for DreamHack. He also thinks the Swedish pla
yers might have an advantage when playing in the ESWC Masters in Paris.
Interview with Arrw - Go here for the video
Arrw didn't want to play his brother Z4muZ when he was younger since he got raped all the time. Nowadays the tables pretty much have turned.
Interview with Spartie- Go here for the video
When all the other gamers started playing Quake 4 Spartie stayed with Quake 3. In the interview he is talking about how actively he was playing Quake 3 during this time.
* Update * If there are any QuakeWorld fans out there you can watch the
interview with Locktar, the winner of the QuakeWorld tournament.

I went to WSVG Toronto in the end of August and here are some picures I took at the event, in Toronto and at the Niagra Falls. Yeah the Niagra Falls has nothing to do with gaming, but I was there during my stay in Canada and the falls cool. ;)
I just got a new camera and I'm not used to use it in dark enviorments yet, that's why some pics are a bit blurry. Gonna work on that. Hope you enjoy anyway. :)

Lost-Cause was one of the lucky players who got picked for the Quake 4 1v1 quick draw where the winners got $1000. All the winners got called up on stage the last day where they could challange eachother. The winner would get $4000, but the looser would loose his $1000 he won from before. Noone wanted to duel since they knew they had to face Lost-Cause. The brave Kal agreed to duel though and he managed to get in a couple of frags.
