Hey guys,
I just wanted to shed a bit of light on the whole seeding for the TDM tournament.
Since TDM on a major LAN hasn't happened in ages you can imagine how tricky this whole thing was for us. It was tough having to rank some of the teams which, even tho on paper had great individual players, had never played together in any TDM tournaments out there.
Not to mention that some of these teams changing line-ups so often didn't help our case either.
These seeds were made before the Jeesports Dremhack TDM tourney because myself and blaze were going to be away for a while before the start of Dreamhack,
and we didnt want to leave any unfinished business. In hindsight, it might have been better to wait, I know, but we're all humans :(
So once again, I'm sorry if any of the seeded teams felt offended, and hopefully there will be another TDM tourney out there that will be able to make good use of the experience gathered during Dreamhack Summer 2011. I really hope this is TDM being ressurrected right here, since it feels like learning to walk again.

They are back!
New Swedish Servers We're very happy to announce that we have a new Swedish server, thanks to the kind souls at Dreamhack. You may have to force reload the page (Ctrl+F5 or cmd+Shift+R) in order for the location to appear in your server browser filters.
For now, due to limited server capacity, all matches at the location are unrestricted, which means players of any skill level are able to join. We expect this to only be temporary, as we hope to bring additional capacity online in a few weeks time.
We hope the server will provide a better experience for our Scandinavian players. Ping well and prosper!

The G7 organization has decided to add Quake Live to their ranking system with QuakeCon 2009 beeing the first ranked event.
With Quakelive being added to the grid of more and more tournaments in the future and Quake in general having such a huge past as a competitive eSports title, the G7 Teams decided to start a ranking for it with Quakecon 2009 being the very first tournament to earn points. The ranking will fall under the same set of rules as CounterStrike 1.6 and WarCraft III do. As the granted points at the first tournament need to be determined and the G7 Teams look at the grid of players and competition as a major tournament, a total of 240 points will be played out at Quakecon 2009.

Since Quake Live hasn't been released yet we won't be able to host our own LAN-servers. We have tried to reach ID-software for 2 months now, trying to come to some sort of agreement. This has sadly not resulted in anything positive.
In order not to have players playing their games on german public servers with 10 spectators in the way we've decided to change the choice of game to Quake 3 Arena (VQ3).
