As you've probably noticed, things have been kinda quiet on the Q4Max front recently. However I'd like to push out a new release as there are a few things I'd like to tidy up.

Things have changed a bit in the Q4 world, with QL now open beta, the absence of any major competitions, and the gradual decline of active players. So this has changed the priorities, and made many of the things still on our todo list a bit obsolete.

So.... if you could have 1 or 2 last changes / fixes / additions, what would you want?

The latest version of MAXBrowse is now available for download. For those who haven't tried MAXBrowse before, it is a server browser created with the aim to be as easy to use, and without adding unnecessary baggage. This version adds support for some Q3 engine games - Q3, ET, and Warsow, as well as the latest D3-engine game, ETQW.

There are also some requested feature additions, such as minimise to systray, improved accuracy of pings. For full details, check the changelog.

Note that the TV filter now works for those games which support TV servers (ETQW, ET, Warsow, Q3 and Q4), but that for Q3 and Warsow the TV's don't report to the master server so you have to add the IPs in manually.

Just in case you missed the previous serverdemos, and this is your first one, you can switch between players, go multipov etc exactly as if you're on the q4tv. You even get to read the spam from some random people (cg_noTVChat to turn that off)

These are server demos, so for those who've never played a serverdemo before they're basically like being a spectator on the q4tv - so cycle round players, hit your multipov key. For that true q4tv feeling, it even features some FU LOBSTER spam.

These are serverdemos, which I guess many of you have never used before ;) You play them just like normal demos, but once you're in the demo you can switch pov, go multipov, show scores etc, just like you were on the q4tv as a spectator. You even get to see the chatter from the q4tv, although chatting back wont do you much good ;)
