Got a new computer set up for Christmas so I am able to play Q4 much better than before. I just added a 3200+ AMD Venicore and a Sapphire Radeon x800 GTO to my set up. Q4 runs quite well, still gets a little choppy in large games.

Q4 1v1 is tough to work on. Everywhere I go I end up playing players that are much better than I, so it gets very discouraging. Without bots like in Q3 to work on my aim and map control without embrassment, I find I am struggling a bit. Oh well, I'll keep on working at it.

I have bought Q4 and it has brought back the good old days of Q3 1v1 and TDM, so I have decided to come back to the scene. My progress has slowed a bit however. For one, my computer is slow. 1.24 GHz AMD, so like 1800+ 1GB of RAM and a Radeon 9550 Pro. So my FPS is really not thre greatest, but it works. The bear of the my problems is my internet connection. WHile I get decent Kbps, I get HORRIBLE lag spikes. From 60 ping to 230ping, and back to 80. This happens every 5-10 seconds.

So I am slowly working my way up to my old level, but the lag spikes and the lower FPS drive me insane, so I can only play around 30 min before losing my mind. I can't wait to get home to use my old internet over winter break so I only have to battle the sub-par FPS.
