QL ranks is great project it also showed us, when a map is played, it's gonna be ztn in more than 50% cases! Which kinda make me think some people play this game only because of this map, is it the wrong direction? Where would quake 3/QL be at the moment if ztn didn't exist? Why is this map so successful for quake, and why there's nothing which can repeat the success of ztn? Please elaborate

Now that there's QL ranking around, I'd like to play some duels from the office, as I don't have much work during the holidays time. The problem actually is, I'm only normal user in WinXp, so i have no admin access rights and therefore I can't install the plugin :-( Is there a way to install it somehow in the normal user account? I thought the main idea of QL (and one of it's main [+]'s) was ability to play it from anywhere to just load a webpage and have fun. I guess I was wrong? :(

Hi guys, just tried some QL in practise mode and I've been wondering what's wrong about chaingun? Why we can't find this weapon in often played maps in duel mode? Does it consume ammo too fast, is it too strong weapon or does it take too much time to get max firing rate? I mean for me its cool weapn and is lot of fun. Remember there was a chaingun in Q2 and it worked pretty well didn't it?... so maybe it just kinda doesn't fit in to whole QL concept? Would really like to see some chaingun battles between pros. What do you think about chaingun in QL duels, does it have any chance in the future? :)

Seen the Toshiba commercial on Eurosport, there's a notebook which can somehow play classic DVD movies in HD! I have no idea how it's done, how can you get a better picture by recoding smth obviously worse? Maybe some light adjusting? No... Really i have no idea :-) Anybody knows? Also I searched the Net and didn't find anything. I need more information about it.

Since there's been said a lot about women in esports, I decided to open this thread (opening poll'd be better though, unfortunately it looks like I don't have enough rights to do so)

What do you ESR people think of women in e-sports? Are they really worse in PC gaming? Why would that be then?
All you need for gaming is experience, fast reactions, tactics etc. really don't see any strength factor involved. Acording to this, they should be equal, but something's just not right... Have you seen any top female players who'd be able to equally fight top men? I haven't. Why is it like that?
Also do you like the idea of "female tournaments"? If I should compare esports to some other sport it would be chess :-) And there're also men and women together since there's also no strength involved. Obviously not talking about the famous chess boxing (Youtube it for some fun) :-))

It could be really more fun with more girls in the sport :-) Ok, I am expecting some funny answers, hope you won't dissappoint. :-)
