I'm looking for the program that raises the mouse polling rate and any advice you have.
I'm not sure if there is more than one program, or what the latest version is. I gather there is a rate checker program also.

intel core 2, 6600

I gather 250-500hz is a fairly safe range.

Does the program change all of your usb ports?

How safe is it? I'm not worried about frying the mouse....I just don't want to damage the comp.

Does anybody here have any experience with the following A4tech mice?

X-748k
X-738k
X-705k

I'm interested in the shapes, size, weight, durability, etc.

I'm assuming they all have the same technology inside, being optical, 1000 usb. Looking at photos on the net, the X-748k looks similar to Habu or DA shape maybe? X-738k similar maybe to razer? Not sure about the X-705k.

These mice are not sold here in the US, so I was hoping to get some feedback before I tried to have any shipped in.
