"Yes, 10 years are gone since the release of the movie! So I've decided to kinda remaster it and give you the opportunity to watch the vid as it was meant to be seen! Enjoy the higher quality fullscreen version!

This video is about Quake 3 modification called Defrag, where you use different trickjumping skills to pass special maps as fast as possible, its representing our 'Black Shadows' team back in 2005!
40 impressive records performed by Russia [bsh]genosh, Russia [bsh]jackal, Russia [bsh]thrasher, Russia [bsh]viper.
Edited and directed by me.
Well-synced soundtrack consists of 8 audio tracks of misc styles.
This video brought me 2 awards in moviemaking contests (1st and 3rd prizes).
A lot of these demos are not the worlds best results anymore, well, so many years passed, but still you may find enjoyable watching this piece of art!

The best DeFRaG movie from russian community of all time. Many players have joined DeFRaG after watching this video, including the currently best vq3 runners in the world - Ukraine Dex and Ukraine Strangeland.
I hope the new generation of quakers will feel the spirit of the old school and the elders will recall the past!

"This movie simply showcases some runs done by a few Q3df.org players. However this time I got rid of the run time overlay, hoping to make the action more clear. You can see the runtimes and download the demos below ;)

I decided to make it a series, hopefully having more regular content on my youtube channel. You can also enjoy 5 different audio tracks if you download the original movie, just in case this one isn't of your taste (I even included a metal one :o)

Other than that, it's the same old boring formula : show runs, some recams here and there, a bit of CC ... I focused a bit more on the synchronization this time, however I am far from mastering it :D"

After two months of grinding maps, leet demos with crazy shortcuts and routes, unexpected holes on maps, DFWC2014 is coming to an end.

The last round ends this Sunday, on January, 4th, at 17-59 GMT, but a little intrigue remains.
United Kingdom Xavier 'zoot' Dhorne will launch the final stream with his regular co-host United States of America nebuLa. This time the guest in the studio will be Sweden Arcaon. It's highly recommended visiting this stream, you will see analysis and demonstration of top10 demos from last round and best demos from whole DFWC2014 as well as questions and answers!

zoot: "Sorry all.. I'm too ill to run the show today, I can barely talk =/ Next weekend [on January, 11th, at 20-00 CET] we have a show arranged anyway to cover all the activities that happened through the DFWC2014. There will be lots of cool guests then, hope you'll tune in :)".

This DFWC marks the second time of Defrag challenge having a prize pool (the first was HANGTIME2 CUP). And this time the amount of donations is really huge - $1556! You still can donate, paypal is defragworldcup2014@gmail.com.

Let me introduce to you the new movie about recently completed HANGTIME2 CUP - first ever DeFRaG competition with a prize fund ($380).

Hangtime2 is one of the hardest strafe maps lately and that is why only hardcore strafers participated. This movie consists of best records on both VQ3 and CPM physics and shows the final standings. I hope you enjoy this movie.

Hangtime2 is a series of 6 nonstandard strafe maps made by United States of AmericaNaturalSpringWater.

You will find a lot of unique, previously unseen tricks there. Passing through all of them without fails is a real challenge requiring a lot of patience and concentration. The more challenging, the more interesting it is. Skilled players will find many new tricks, whilst newbies gonna get a good reason to improve their skills.

I’m presenting to your attention Hangtime2 DeFRaG CUP with an initial* prize fund of $380 ($190 each physics).
