ATM I use a razer goliathus control. I like it due to the low fricition and it feels fast like a hard pad (without wearing away the mouse feet). Previously I used a everglide titan. It was ok but it feels like I'm moving the mouse through a swamp compared to the goliathus.

Recently a small computer shop opened up near where I work. I saw in the window they are selling roccat sense and mionix alioth 320. I wanted to know your opinion on these mats, especially in reguard to friction and durability.

I'm happy with the goliathus control but wouldn't mind trying one of the above mats if they offer lower fricition and good durability.

I need some new skates for my g5.

The two companies that seem to make them are hyperglides and steel series.

Which one is better, do you get more skates with one compared to the other?

Also is one thicker than the other?

Any websites you guys recommend to buy them from if you are in the uk?

Im thinking about getting a diamondback 3g as i tend to finger grip my mouse more than palm it. I thought the 3g sensor could do 450 / 900 and 1800dpi.

Previously I was using a logitech g5, I turn the pc on today and there is no cursor movement. The LED's on the mouse are working fine, I can change sensitivity, the side buttons the tilt wheel and the main buttons all work but there is no cursor movement when i move the mouse.

I connected my old mouse mx518 in and everything works.

If the mouse has died thats so shit. Less tha a year without any real misuse and already its broken ffs.

ATM i use a g5 with a everglide titan gaming mat. its dimensions are 355 x 254 x 4mm. The mat is quite nice, I have been using it for about a year with no real probs and it tracks well on my g5.

What im looking for is another cloth mat with similar dimensions that tracks well and has lower friction when used with my g5.

I especially want it to have lower friciton compared to my titan mat. That is the main feature I am looking for.

any recommendations? I dont mind if the pad is abit bigger but i wouldn't want anything that is alot smaller than this.

I know hard pads are lower friciton but i dont want to use them if possible. I had a ratpadz gs before but it wore out. I tried it the other day and i don't feel the tracking is on par with my titan mat. Also the hardpad doesnt feel as comfortable on the hands and usuually arent as big.

I was alos looking at the razer destructor pad but I would rather get a cloth one.

I understand that these monitors can't do the max resolution at 75hz. I would probably play at 1440 x whatever at 75hz. Are there any monitors that can do 1680x1050 at 75hz?

Hi guys, I am looking to play a new dm game and need some recommendations.

What I am looking for is something that is active at a casual pub level, especially late at night around 1.00am gmt.

ATM I play hl2dm, css and tf2.

I am currently looking at ut3 or painkiller ovedose. How active are these games?

My pc specs are a amd single core 3800 2.4ghz, 1gb ram and a 7600gt

I would like a game with strafejumping/bunnyhop but I don't mind if it doesn't. I used to like previous UT games like unreal 1 and ut99.

I dont mind trying some older games, aslong as they are active at casual pub level and fairly accessible. I dont mind there being a learning curve but dont want anything too extreme.
