Anyone ever try to put the insides of a Death Adder inside an IME 3.0 shell?

I'm really interested in doing this but would like to hear other people's ideas before i break 2 mice here.

Like would it be possible to use the DA's scroll wheel with the IME 3.0 shell or would i have to cut the hole to make it fit ect.

Hello, don't know if this is a good place to ask this but I'm asking here because there are a few technically knowledgeable people here so here goes.

I currently play arcade fighting games through emulators on my PC with an arcade joystick. I notice that I get a bit of input lag when I play, and its even worse when I play versus other people online through GGPO (ggpo.net) and 2DFighter (2dfighter.com)

I was wondering if it was possible to use one of the various USB rate changing programs to make my joystick perform a bit better. The one that I had in mind was Sweetlow's HIDUSBF. I wanted to use this one because it wouldn't change the rate for all of my usb devices.

The program recognizes my joystick and I was able to change the rate to 500Hz but I'm not sure if it actually works or not, would there be a way for me to actually see if its working 100%? Or any tool i can use to measure the frequency?

Im starting to notice bad negative acceleration and skipping with my IME 3.0 while using 75cm per 360 and am wondering if you guys experience the same results using low sense like me.

Im using it at 1000Hz but it only reaches 666 constant Hz while testing circle movements using UsbRate.exe .

I use a Razer Mantis Control pad and like it very much, but I'm wondering if its my mousepad thats creating the bad accel. Also could you recommend a mousepad that the IME 3.0 tracks well with using low low sense?
