I currently have a goliathus control but thinking of trying a speed.

Anyone tried both know how much smoother the speed is compared to control / other mats?

Prob end up using it with DA.

So my razer DB died yesterday, looking for a new mouse.

Trying to choose between G5 (2007 edition) and mx518.

Looking at the mousescore 2007 benchmarks, G5 has almost the same 'perfect control' score as the DB and mx518. I've never had any control issues with the DB so I think the G5 would be fine.

Looking at the raw specs, DPI, usb rate, etc, G5 also seems to win. So why do people recommend the mx518 over it?
