I'm mainly interested in finding out what tweaking has been done to the weaponry, I gather the rl is faster since the very latest update and lg stronger? Or is this due to old hitboxes with newer netcode? I'm lost inform me plzkthx!

USB hz OCing OVERATED? (69 comments)

I notice that any mouse i've used at 1000hz or 500hz rarely hit the peak unless the mouse is being moved very swiftly. I've tried various and this is a rather nice one other mouserate.exe

http://www.emsai.net/projects/mousespeed/

I think its most beneficial to low sens or high sens players with basically little or no accel as they tend to move the mouse a bit faster and less flickier.

I think the russian blocky style of play only needs 250hz as its more about letting opponent walk into crosshair rather than a medium sens player who constantly tracks and adjusts.

I play with sens 2 accel 2 lexer style or sometimes 4/0.5 (casual player) and see no benefit from more than 125hz with m_filter 1 unless u want to go m_filter 0 on 250hz to avoid any mouse/screen shakiness/jitters.

Mousepads with most friction (24 comments)
Posted by Lowbird @ 08:28 CDT, 28 September 2010 - iMsg
Hey guys,

Back in Q3 I used a func1030 with mx500 for a long time on sens 11cm/360. I aimed well with it very similar style of aim to zero4 say.

Later I moved to cloth and difference mice (mx500 broke otherwise...) namely allsop small and now steelseries qck - the thin one which is way too slippy for my taste. But i threw the 2 worn allsops out and they seem impossible to get here in Holland unless you want to pay 25-35 euros for the allsop raindrop XL.

So does anyone know of a cloth path that offers the most friction? I will also consider hard pads if they come cheap and are durable..

My current mouse is mx518 and i find its teflon feet even slippy.

Razer DB prediction? (2 comments)

Does the original Razer Diamondback (the one that had a pixel skip) have mouse predition/correction/angle snapping or whatever you want to call it enabled? I know that there were two versions Agilent A3070 and A3080 and google didnt reveal any answers.

IMO max polling rate (19 comments)

Hey guys,

I have an intellimouse optical - not sure if its a 1 or 1.1 version. It overclocks to 500hz stable max so I presume its a 1.1 but I did buy it years ago when it could possibly have been a mark 1?

Or is it only the WMO that has 2 versions one which sucks and the other that can do 1000hz? I have heard lots of debate about the sensor but I always thought the IMO had a different one to wmo 1.1a and IE3.

CRTs that do 120hz at 1024x768 (153 comments)
Posted by Lowbird @ 02:33 CDT, 12 September 2010 - iMsg
Hi guys,

As the title suggests I'm currently hunting for a CRT that will do a minimum of 120hz at 1024x768. I'm totally fed up of my Samsung Syncmaster 226CW with its 38ms input lag.

I owned an Iiyama vision master pro 454 that did 166 hz at that resolution before but if you could post any other models you may know of that do the job please post. I know there are some sonys branded by Dell that might do the job but have no idea of models.

Thanks.

Logitech Setpoint accel (5 comments)
Posted by Lowbird @ 11:45 CDT, 10 September 2010 - iMsg
Does anyone know approximate values when one compares QLs built in accel command(s) towards the accel choices in setpoint i.e. Low, Medium or High. The accel curve feels different whilst using setpoint of course and I'd love to know why.

PS I know half the replies will be dont use drivers but I want the same accel in all games i play and I'm not a heartless pro wannabe. Mouse is mx518 1800dpi edition.

Any funny business and i'll get the rawkcawk out and rape you.
