BiBS Season III Playoffs (26 comments)
Posted by lundiz @ 10:34 CDT, 30 May 2010 - iMsg
Scheduled: 10:00 CDT, 30 May 2010 to 21:00 CDT, 30 May 2010
Schedule: Passed

We have now reached the playoffs in the Bring it Back Safely CTF league. The playoffs are going to be a 1-day event that takes place on Sunday 30/5 for both the EU and NA leagues. Two clans from each group advance to the EU playoffs. New for this season is that we'll split these six divisions into a high tier and a low tier playoff. The high tier will contain divisions 1-3 and the low tier divisions 4-6. Regular playoffs brackets will be applied.

We would like to wish all the participating clans good luck and we hope you all enjoy watching this event!

Bring it Back Safely season III sign-ups (52 comments)
Posted by lundiz @ 15:30 CST, 16 February 2010 - iMsg
We are happy to announce the third season of the BiBS CTF league! And the sign-ups are already open for EU and NA! To play in BiBS, all clans attending have to register at bibsql.com. After the registration, your clan also has to sign-up before playing in BiBS!

In order to get accepted into BiBS, every clan has to have a minimum of four players in the clan’s roster (preferably five to six players). The skill doesn't matter as the teams will be seeded into appropriate divisions. An active IRC channel for each team is required. More about the rules are coming shortly.

Regarding the playings, we are still working to have the finals played in Europe. The finals in North America will not be played.

Also, here are the official rankings from North America:

We're looking forward to seeing all the teams in action, both new and old!

With the Bring it Back Safely playoffs coming up we are proud to announce an action packed schedule with some of the biggest names in the shoutcasting business! With QLTV doing a great job in the opening season we are happy to have them back shoutcasting the playoffs together with djWHEAT and holysh1t TV!

Dates
Sunday December 6 - brackets
Sunday December 13 - semi finals, 3rd place match and finals

We are also psyched to offer the top teams of the playoffs AGP Ranking points. With the co-operation of the AGP (Association of Gaming Professionals), teams will earn Ranking points based on their final standings. This will contribute to the international, regional, and national CTF Rankings. Being the first AGP Sanctioned league for CTF, this will give you serious bragging rights! All team members must be members of the AGP (free registration) in order to qualify. More details on this soon including point breakdown as well as the launching of the CTF Rankings and player legislation.
