This is not really related to ql. Is there a way to force negative acceleration in windows? In another game no matter what you do some acceleration exists, so Im wondering if theres something I can do in windows to counteract the accel of the game?

Im sure its possible, the many noaccel fixes modify acceleration in one direction, how can it be modified in the other?

If yes, what version drivers are you using, and do you have audio delay of about half a second?

After installing windows 7 I noticed there seems to be a slight delay for mouse clicks (around a third of a second). I changed the polling rate to 500, but it was still there. On XP this delay does not exist, so there is nothing wrong with the mouse. Anybody else have this problem? Any ideas how to solve it?

I reinstalled win7 and currently have my mouse at 125 looking for a solution.

On the newer 120hz lcd monitors one can do both 640x480/800x600 and the native res at a 120hz refresh rate. So does it really still make sense to use the lower resolutions? Is the mouse movement smoother? Does native resolution and less ghosting/input lag even it out?

For those of you with VX2265wm monitors: what are the resolutions and refresh rates for each of those resolutions you can run it at? What refresh rates can you get with 640x480, 800x600, 1024x768, 1152x864 and so forth?

Does the monitor automatically scale non-native resolutions to fit the entire screen? If yes, how bad or good is the resulting image quality/ghosting at non-native resolutions?

I've been getting strangely high pings in all ql servers recently.

My speedtest results:

I used to always ping around 6-8 in NY servers, at most 30 in CHI, etc. Now I ping ~68 in NY. In other games like css my pings have remained the same so its not the routing on my side that changed. Any ideas?
