Recently had mouse4 break on my Xai, for some reason.

Rather than sending the mouse back to DENMARK for a replacement, i figured i'd just resolder the microswitch.

I now have a perfectly functional and opened Xai, devoid of any button problems or anything of the like

My question is, now that i've 'voided' the 'warranty', what other potential mods can you creative lads think of? I'm pretty happy with the Xai, though undoubtedly someone must have some ideas.

This can't be correct, my lagometer comes out looking all serrated, any idea why this would happen?

I often miss rails, or get through rails that should be a hit, i.e target standing between doorways, or w/e. Shotguns are often hit and miss, emphasis on miss.

Also, i've got the two most irresponsible users on my network capped to 1mbit down 128k up BETWEEN them, yet i still lag on a 8mbit/384k connection.

Firstly, why is my lagometer jagged? shouldn't it be a straight line?
Secondly, why do c*nts make me lag when they're capped, pretty ridic. Plus i have the best net available to me, apart from getting cybernetic implants and running the server out of my brain.

Thirdly, and most importantly, why would i miss rails that should be hits. Shotgun too, any idea why? I've played at mates houses and they seem to have much more consistent rail rego that i do, and only have approx 5-10 less ping.

Hey, upgraded my 4890 to the 10.5 catalyst drivers, and started having this problem (pic related, it's my quake)

Also, my config seems to be royally screwed, i cannot use a forcemodel with any colour but white. I'd love to be able to use green again, as white isn't any fun.

I've done a cvar_restart, tried reinstalling the game, different configs, and it's no dice.

Interestingly, i can use any config i like, and the keel/bright reverts to white, and it won't let me change the colour in the menu... It's annoying.

Recently bought a 3.0 for gaming, and i seriously do not understand all the hype.

I've only had it a month, and:
[*] The anti sweat coating on the left side is already wearing off
[*] the mousewheel and mouse4/5 buttons feel like shit
[*] the cursor randomly decides to drift upwards and to the right

Also, 450dpi is not enough to use when using dual monitors.

The sensor is fine (bar the drifting issue), i can see why it's well regarded, i've just had problems with the quality of it... any other thoughts?

Considering just biting the bullet and getting another razer or logitech, or maybe a xai.
