so i came across this video on how to create a picmip/nomip look for dota and was wondering if it would work for QC. anyway i would have to create space on my hdd and download a 16gig update in order to test it so eh, but anyway heres a step for step guide for to make it work for nvidia cards:

fix:
1. control panel -> Network and sharing center (cant translate to english sorry :D)
2. go to Change adapter settings in the tab to the left
3. Ethernet -> properties
4. IPv4 -> properties
5. set dns address to 8.8.8.8 and alternate to 8.8.4.4

changes dns to googles server or something. i cant actually computer, but it worked for me :D

ive been trying to make my crosshair look like this one: http://i30.tinypic.com/1sxk3k.jpg

i think i got the right menu file for it, but i cant get it to work. can't tell cuz im pretty clueless when it comes to quake commands and such =) i have tried other crosshairs and for most part they work just fine, but i cant get this one right

anyway, if someone could tell me what ive been doing wrong, or if something is actaully wrong with the .menu file, rewrite it, i would be very thankful :-D
