A fraction that deeply devides ctfers, is japanese castles. Its mostly a hate it, or love it case. The funny part is several teams base their whole game on it, its the only thing they play, and they loath from playing anything else. The other group is mostly like ok we like to play every map, but suck on japan, and hate it so much we cannot describe it with words. The most common scenario i bump into, is that there is player that loves japan, hates c7, and there is b who feels the perfect opposite. Fact is japanese castles dominates ctf pickups, nobody cares about people that would play other maps aswell, cuz a true japan lover states: c7 is bad, siberia is horror, and the rest suck too. Lucky for league systems where you can eliminate, nobody has to suffer a cronic phenomen where he has to play the map he hates all the time. But for practise games they start with japanese castles, and quite oftern the enemy disconnects afterwards the map.

I myself hate to live in the past, I'm not dreaming of 12 year old ctf maps, I dont cry becouse there is no cp9. Although I must say I WOULD RATHER PLAY BLOODLUST OR EVEN FINIGANS THAN JAPANESE. I personally hate the day the map was added.
