Quakecon 2017 will have duel and people attending can qualify for the main tournament through the BYOC qualifier

obvious questions arise: how many players will qualify out of the qualifier? how many overall players in the tournament? how many invites (if any)?

there's a bit of input lag or something that feels similar while I play and stream quake, my PC's fine. I generally don't multitask or watch my stream while I play, so that shouldn't further stress my PC.

anyone else get this issue while they play? This is most noticeable when railing and rocketing. both seem delayed as if im playing with 100 ping instead of the 35.

specs: i7 6700K, 1070 GTX, 16GB DDR4 memory

Syncerror I know you read these forum boards so PLZ, please try and find a way to fix this shit. It's the most annoying thing ever when THE ONE FUCKING SERVER THAT CONNECTS EAST TO WEST PLAYERS can't work right. I can't play on the one server which is mostly populated thru-out the day and i'm from the west coast. I used to get 70 (which I didn't mind since with timenudge it was bearable) but now I get 90 which makes the game just monkey shit and unpredictable and impossible to play.

Either that or please refund my pro subscription. This is getting quite ridiculous at this point. I buy a subscription then the servers go to dogshit and I can no longer play.

Played some Reborn today. Engine was shit.

is absolutely shit. I was looking through the servers earlier and realized how good last months rotation was (the one w/ t4, silence, aero). WHY CAN'T WE HAVE A BETTER FUCKING ROTATION consisting of maps which are ACTUALLY FUCKING played? Quarantine and Focus are not duel maps. If you expect them to be played as duel maps, you are high as a fucking kite.

So in the last two bo5 series I watched (from the 125 FPS cup), it was a match between a really LAN proven pro vs online hero (agent/cooller, spartie/sting). In both cases, the series was tight throughout and went to a 5th and final map BUT instead of being a close game like the previous 4, the experienced pro just wiped the floor with the other player. In the example I gave, cooller beat agent 14-0 or something on cure and spartie beat sting with a similar scoreline. Now is this just the lack of experience that the other player has or what or did they just play a poor last map because of nerves (or did cooller/spartie reallyyyy stepped it up for the last map knowing they had to win it at all costs)??

Thoughts?? wouldn't mind seeing input from pros on this as well.

tl;dr

-cooller very hard to LG, cooller plays the game situationally, he will take a fight based on his confidence and whether or not he feels comfortable and he will judge the same for his opponent before attacking.
-played his match the gaming-insight offices
-talks about shot on toxicity at the very last second. thought cooller was less than 80 hp, but the three 5 hp bubbles probably put him above the threshold, which is why cooller took the risk to come out in the open
-loves railgun
-says he didn't play his best today, but played very well on ztn.
-cooller's style not comfortable for killsen to play vs.
-when asked "why he rushes the railgun when he spawns at plasma YA on ztn", he replies saying that you can almost always hit a free shot to mega and since he's very comfortable with the weapon, he doesn't see it as a risk.
