Artisan - Which one? (14 comments)
Posted by Gremby @ 10:48 CDT, 25 September 2016 - iMsg
Back at it again!

Here's my history:
- Hard mat (Wear on both glides and mat)
- QCK+ Heavy (No wear but REALLY slow)
- SS Experience (Massive wear on glides)
- SS DeX (My current one and no wear and somewhat nice friction)

So, I love when there's no friction. Can't stand having a mousepad that makes it really heavy to move the mouse. Just can't aim with it. Especially when I play games like Quake and Overwatch. Don't need that control you perhaps need in CS GO. Also, would really want a black mousepad. Why doesnt artisan sell these in black :(

Artisan has come up multiple times but there are just so many and they also come with different backsides. Soft, medium, hard etc.

I just want really low friction with minimal wear! Does this exist?

Also, I've read a lot of ppl telling artisan's do wear out rather quickly and since they are expensive and don't sell in my country I don't really wanna have to buy every year.

I'm also thinking of Zowie G-SR. What you guys think?

Is Rapha using Artisan now?

Good mouse for glass mousepad? (30 comments)
Posted by Gremby @ 13:54 CDT, 14 July 2016 - iMsg
Hi,

I'm still using my SteelSeries Experience I-2 and I'm starting to have some difficulties.

1. Some surfaces on the pad is hard to track on. Not sure if its dirt, if its damage or if its the mouse.
2. The mouse glides wear out really fast. Like REALLY fast. New glides is amazing! There's hardly any sound from draging the mouse. But after a few days the glides has worn down and then there's this horrible sound.
3. Are there any glides that last a while on glass?

So my question is. Should I buy a different mouse (Fnatic Flick is what I have and there are no glides for it) or a different mousepad?

I just cant stand plastic and cloth. There just isnt that same control. The mouse feels heavy on anything but glass.

Going from 5.1 to 2.1 headphones (29 comments)

Hello,

For many years I've been playing with my Logitech G35. I find the sound to be excellent when playing fps-games. It was really easy to locate the enemy by just sound. Unfortunately these headphones break very easily and I just had enough.
Now I've bought myself some 2.1 headphones and I'm having a really hard time locating the enemy. Can't tell if they are above or under me. I'm now using Sennhesier HD650. Excellent sound for BF4 but when playing competitive games I just can't be a soundwhore anymore. Why is that? Aren't most of the pros using 2.1 headphones? Is there an option that I've missed?

Deathadder 3.5G - LOD issue (1 comment)
Posted by Gremby @ 17:29 CST, 9 November 2012 - iMsg
Hi.

Today I bought my third deathadder. I've had zero issues with the other deathadder's but this one has some major LOD issues.
This is my second 3.5G and there's a big difference between them. My first 3.5G have I been using for over 2 years now and the LOD was perfect. With this new one I seriously can not game.

I have a normal size mousepad and a low sense in-game so I have to lift the mouse very often. And when the LOD is too high my pointer/sight keeps on following my movement in the air. Unplayable!

I've tried the fix concerning the tape on the sensor, but when I cover the hole sensor the mouse is dead, and when I cover just a part it has zero affect.

BenQ XL2410T, play in 4:3 (13 comments)

Hi.

I was wondering if it's possible to play in 4:3 with the black bars on the side and no stretched image?

Like this:

This is the same monitor and I believe that he's playing in 4:3. I can do some modifications in the monitor itself, but in-game I dont get any black bars (I see the background) and the image is stretched vertically.

I've fooled around with some commands but none seem to be perfect.

Thanks!
