Just created this thread in a hope that player cfgs wont get lost/ forgotten to be taken from their pc's or f*cked up in any other way like it usually happens durin qc tournaments.

Didnt update those for a while so wonder whats currently the best nvidia driver for win7 in terms of lowest input lag.
With poor nvidia coding that was always pain in the ass since different drivers introduced different sort of problems such as worse fps or higher input lag and there were just few chosen ones which were considered flawless such as old 186.82 or later on 295.73 etc. So wonder whats the safiest go now among those shitty drivers in post 300. era?

Is it possible to remove blue box which is shown up above player when he use chat/console? Thx

Along with QC configs being released(thx SyncError) it would be informative to make the list of mouse and possibly dpi players were using there aswell. So if you can sort that out by the photos from quakecon or have "insider" information/been at quakecon urself pls share this info with us.

Im doing some kind of a poll for my future research work about gaming mouse. So i want to hear oppinions of esr people.
The question is if you had to devide all existing game mouses into two groups would it be:
1) Symmetric-Ergonomic or
2) Laser-Optical
In other words if you are choosing new mouse whats the the most important thing u would consider first to sort out mice- its shape or sensor type?

Since there is a similar topic about mouse i decided to fantasize a bit if the same "home made" thing fitting the needs of competitive community can be done with a monitor as well.
As many gamers still prefer to play under 4:3 resolutions and monitor/gpu aspect ratio scaling issues like input lag being mentioned over and over again, my idea was what if a non-widescreen 120hz fast TFT could be created. That would fullfill the absolutely empty niche in the market.
In theory it would be like:
1.Take some uber fast matrix from one of the modern widescreen monitors like BenqXL2411
2.Make it 4:3
3.??????
4.PROFIT

Tech specs of this monitor of my dream might be the following:
1) Size: 19"-22"
2) Resolution: 1600x1200,1440x1080 etc (4x3 not 5x4)
3) 120 Hz
4) 1-2 ms response time
5) LED

Kinda weird request, but still. Is there any mod for q3 or ql which completely remove bunny hopping/starafe jumpin making movement linear without ability to accelerate? Im ok with movement if you wonder, just need that for some testing purposes.

Just wonder which one should I use since im fed up with too limited options of standart subscription. Lets say i want to play some defined duel map on a server(not mine) is premium enough for that? And for reason to invite some non premium user into this match i would need pro account,right?
UPD. Also didnt get these so far: since one reaches tier4 for example he is not able to join noobs anymore and lower skilled matches arent displayed in server list or its still available?

Recently went to a local shop and saw that qck+ mouse are packed in somekind of redisigned box instead of regular tube one, So just wonder if that just marketing stuff to change its pack design or there are actually some differences between 'old' and 'new' version. Here is pics of those two:

Decided to move back to XP OS, so now i've got XP SP3 with Nvidia 8800 GTX and Viewsonic VX2268 monitor and the latest Nvidia drivers. The problem is that in nvidia control panel there is just no option for GPU scaling like on vista or win7. Options for changing resolution and hz is there indeed. Any suggestions would be appreciated, i just dont understand if this issue is driver or monitor related or mb XP in general..
