For about 2 years ive been struggling with my lags ingame. But now its ridiculous. I havent been able to practice normally at all for the past 2 weeks

I dont understand how, for example, my friend can download torrents and still play just fine without any lag but nobody in my house can even watch a youtube video without my ping going to 150
Its not wireless either.

What can I do to avoid everybodys internet usage fucking my lagometer completely?

Russian servers?

About 2 years ago, I had 20-30 ping on moscow servers, just like in CPMA. Then, it went up to 50. Then it started fluctuating between 50,60-70 and 85. For about a week now, my ping has gone up to 100-120.

Why do I have better ping to a server which is located in a place where you can throw boiling water out of an apartment building and watch it freeze to snow mid-air (Sibiria).

Siberia: 75-85

Moscow: 100-140 and it keeps rising

This makes it impossible to play with eastern russians in decent conditions in a cup (for example 125fps) hint hint nudge

After playing CS in my (extreme)youth I tried playing CS:GO now. maxfps 55 :(((

So i was wondering if there any servers/pickups/websites for 1.6 that have standard 5v5 Bomb gameplay, something similar to #tdmpickup.

Its been like this with my computer for quite some time now, and all of the tips that have suggested do not work as there is no updates for my graphics card (ATI radeon 3000 piece-of-shit-series.)

I even reinstalled the WIn7 and all the graphics drivers etc and its still like this.

Its really annoying on maps like Dreadful place, where enemies blend in to the background...What to do?

Ive been having some fps issues on Q4max recently, which is odd. 2 days ago I changed some stuff with my cfg and later tried it.I had steady 125 fps. Today its a steady 91, which is weird. My friend has the same issue, except that he has 93. Whats the cmd for maxfps? If there is one? Other solutions?

Ive seen reviews of it and seen it on Ebay, but I havent actually seen a legit store or internet-store where I can buy it. Ebay is legit but the seller is from Hong Kong and the last time I bought something from there I ended up with a defect abyssus, and its much too expensive anyways.

On monday I saw that zoot had said that he didnt have a computer to stream the 1st groupstage of 125fps.

Nico gave me an invite to the september league so I felt like i owed him a favour, so I offered to cover mainly for the English stream (Zoot/Ins) and Russian stream (Ash/Agent etc) if needed.

He accepted and after 2 days of test-streaming Group A/B, I think everything is pretty much fixed and ready to go.

Basically whenever there is no English stream for the league we will do it, and if there is an English stream but not a Russian one we will do that too!

I have the Steelseries Kana, and recently i errm...smashed it against the table and now i cant click M1/M2 button.


Before i get a new Kana i was wondering if theres any way to fix the buttons without buying anything?

So its adviceable to use timenudge at high pings.

At what ping is timenudge useless?

I have timenudge set at -10 and I am wondering if i should remove it as I have quite low ping on certain servers.

When I remade my config from scratch I noticed that on all servers my ping went up by +5

On de its now 40 instead of 35 and swe its 13 instead of 8

Is there anything that might be making my ping shoot up like this within the config?

When I execced a random cfg I had it went back down to 35/8

Hello. I'm thinking of getting the BenQ xl2411t 120hz monitor and I was wondering if these specs will allow me to play Quakelive with it.

Graphics card can do 120hz, I've checked it.
Looked on the comp and It only has VGA output
In game I play with 800x600 res.
The BenQ monitor has VGA, DVi and Hdmi output but I'm worried wether it will work.
