I have been playing for the past 10 years with 400 DPI and 500hz. I was told not to use 1000hz because it would cause too much inconsistancy and 500hz won't have as much and stay closer to 500hz. What do you guys think? Is it OK for me to 1000hz? Should I use 1000hz? Or should I keep it at 500hz and up my in game sensitivity?

I am coming from the Zowie SR and before that I had QcK+. I need something new. I like the SR size, but I had the edges. That bump where they have the stitched edges are terrible and mess up my tracking in game sometimes. But I have gotten more or less used to it. So if the best thing is the SR, I will live with it. I haven't honestly researched mouse pads in such a long time. Is there anything new that has been released that has taken the community by storm? I use strictly optical mice. I am a pretty low sensitivity gamer, too.

So I am looking at all the new mice that have been coming out and I don't know which to get. Zowie's have the best form I have ever felt but they have the worst latency lag ever, right? Logitech has the best senor but the least ergonomic design for me. They came out with a new one, the 402, I think. But it's based on old technology. Not sure why they would put a new technology with an old senor that had flaws??

I am looking for a new mouse pad. I do not care about the price to much. But I am using a optical mouse. What is the best mouse pad for the optical sensor right now? Is it still the QcK?

I have the Logitech G303. Love it. Best sensor I have ever used. The form though is way to small for my hand though. I get cramps in my hand after one hour of gaming.

It has been a while since I got it though. Has there been a better sensor released? Has there been a bigger mouse released?

What is the best 3.0 USB drive for under 15-20 dollars? I intend to put Windows on it so I presume that read speeds are the most important thing.

I am in the market for a new mouse. I am coming from the Razer DA, mx518, and Zowie EC1. I like my optical for sure! I loved the Zowie EC1 finish but it wore down a bit and it always had a squeaky scroll wheel. I do not want to use drivers. I want something plug an play, ready to go out of the box. Loved Zowie for that and I might end up getting another one because of it. But I do not know what has been released recently. Anything new? I wouldn't be opposed to trying out a ambidextrous design either. I used one when I first started gaming... called a Diamondback. I liked that one too! Recommendations?

I just bought a Poker II. I didn't know it didn't support PS2 ports even through an adapter. But even an adapter would add latency right? Ugh. So should I return it or are USB keyboards fine to game on?

I am getting the PG278Q and want to start playing at the native resolution of 2560x1440. Presently, I am using a 1920x1080 monitor and using The MarkC Windows 8.1 + 8 + 7 Mouse Acceleration Fix. (Which, should I be using it to begin with?) Will the 1to1 fix work for that resolution, too? Or is that just for 1920x1080?

I have the Zowie EC1 Evo. When I use the mouse rate checker, I am getting on average 135 but it's set to 125. Does anyone have a Zowie mouse behave like this, too?

I have a Zowie. I was told I am setting up my settings wrong. I have it currently setup for 125hz and 450dpi. I then proceed to up my sensitivity in game to where it feels right. Is this the right way to go about setting up my mouse?

I currently play BF3, mostly. I have the Zowie EC1 and my settings are 500hz/450dpi. With my G400, I cranked my sensitivity to 1.0 and used 125hz/800dpi and it was amazing. With the EC1 however, I cannot set it up to be exactly the same. I have to comprise a little somewhere. Is it better to up the dpi/hz options or crank up the sensitivity in game?

I am having a tough time reading and locating good info. None of it is really helping because the people are looking for slightly different things.

I know I don't want a RAZER product already. I also don't want a Logitech product either. I have the G400 and G400s now and I have a general dislike of the ergonomic design of it.

On this mouse, my ring and pinky rest uncomfortably on the side and my pointer and middle finger are clawed but yet my palm is still resting on it. Suffice it to say I have larger hands.

I would like a mouse longer and/or wider if that is possible.
