It's funny how people think this increases their productivity. It's funny, I'm still laughing.
The secret to strong focus is removing all monitors. That's the secret.
It takes about 20 minutes to regain your focus on an important matter after being distracted.
Advertisement industry profits from this. Flashy animation things can take people's attention away.
It's funny how people now have flashy things on multiple monitors.
I'm almost certain Rapha has one monitor. k1llsen has two because he's a streamer
If it takes 20 mins to regain your focus on something and there are only 24 hours in a day.. by science, you can only achieve full concentration for 2 hours.. so your attention is pretty damn valuable since it's costly.
Quite honestly, I put away my gaming rig every night. I'm actually on my macbook pro w/ retina display right now typing this.
I'm too focused to fall into this trap.
Here's basically what I do to ensure I'm focused on a goal 100% of the time. I'm revealing you my ultimate secret to success and this can be applied to anything. It may sound very obvious.
1) Turn off cellphone notifications
2) keep one context open on your computer, not 2,not3
That's it. That's how you become wealthy in America. If you can do this, you will become a millionaire.
and oh btw, if you watch people on twitch, you're most likely making a time costly mistake. I see dudes are gaming on main and using second for twitch 1) you're not playing well because you're unfocused 2) you are incredibly dumb.
Watching twitch is equivalent to binge watching cable tv. I hear arguments that twitch is different because of the interaction. lol. stupid. However, if you're watching twitch with the goal to learn from the streamer's gameplay, then that's different. If you're sitting there mindlessly reading through the chat and participating in the chat, then you're stupid and you most likely fail at everything else in life since everything you do on the internet is who you really are in person.
