Hey guys.
I've been trying to switch from IMO to WMO today, but whenever I try to switch the polling rate on the WMO it just stops working.
Whenever I change the refresh rate and restart my PC, the WMO is dead and will no longer work in the same USB port. When I plug it into a different USB port it works just fine. The USB docks are 100% okay. They do not die after restarting the PC, the IMO still works fine in the very same USB ports.
Now, the WMO just won't work in any of the 3 ports I've tried, and I have no idea what to do, how to make my WMO work in those again or how to change the polling rate correctly. Note that I've been using the WMO before on 1000hz and it was fine, the problem started just today after I've plugged it back in.
Is there any way to get the WMO to work in the ports that I've been trying to change the refresh rate in? Or if not, how do I set it so it would work correctly in a different port?
edit: adding to the story:
After plugging and unplugging it a few times I've noticed that while plugged in, the WMO is listed on the USB devices list as a ghost with no name and just the "filter on device" set to 'yes'. Whenever I uncheck 'filter on device' the WMO is back to life on 125hz but still there's no way to set it to 1000hz. How to I get around that?
