since i updated my win10 a couple days ago QL has a very big overall delay in it. when i click "play" in the menu it takes 10 secs to advance to the next menu. the serverlist refreshes extremely slow and i cant even join a server. any idea?

since i am long out of date concerning pc hardware i just wanted to ask for help here.
i want to know if it makes any sense to upgrade my current system so i can play some newer games like reflex (even if it would mean with very low settings).
to the point, thats what i am on right now:

- Motherboard Gigabyte 965P-DQ6
- CPU Core 2 Duo 6700 @ 2.66 GHz
- RAM Kingston KHX6400D2LLK2/4G 2x2GB
- GFX Radeon X1950 XT

pretty old stuff all in all. but since i am only playing quake live (till now) and using the pc to run stuff like the typical office shit and matlab it was enough untill now, no complaints to be honest.

QUESTION: i have very little money to spend. does it make sense to upgrade the GFX card and maybe the RAM (2x4GB)?

i just wanted to know if anyone has a clue how to circumvent the annoying self-clicking of the WMO when lifting/putting it down again by "greater force".
i had +zoom always on my right mouse button, but since i have the WMO i dont zoom anymore.

i was thinking about soldering the buttons from my old logitech mice to it (omniron? omicron? something like that).
but i dont know if its even technical possible.

or is it maybe possible to create a kind of delay on the right button?
like when the button clicks due to lifting/putting it down it wont react because the time the button being clicked is too short.
if you hold the button longer it will react.
i was thinking about the cfg comand "wait", but since i didnt ever used that either i dont really know how it works.

maybe some of you have the same problem and even solved it somehow.

after i plugged in my new WMO steelseries mouse i wanted to start a practice match against bots.
as soon as i join, the crashs saying "ERROR: weapon number 0 out of range".

any thoughts on how to fix it?

i have a little problem with my mouse.
the right mouse button has a defective contact somehow which is why i'm not able to +zoom properly.
so now i wanted to toggle the +zoom on my right button and -zoom on my fire button.
so, could you help me with the "code"? :)

hi,
i was curious about playing some duels again after a long time.
wanted to practice first against bots to get used to the "new" maps before i play online.
thing is, when i ready up and the game begins i start with 225 hp and 100 amor as well as all weapons.
when i'm below 225 hp and pick up a health bubble (25/50) my hp stacks up again till 225 hp.
is that supposed to be this way or am i really the only one to notice that it's "broken"?

i already asked in the QL user forum but till now noone answered. :(((
