FPSCup 02 was a series of defrag tournaments, it was held throughout winter 2024. While writing this text, the third iteration ended recently.

FPSCup 02 have been organised by Rain and had an amazing output regarding maps. The participation was huge and the trickjumping community produced lots of astonishing runs. The cup was divided into 7 rounds and afterwards all points had been summed up. The video includes the demos of the round winners.

The next Quake 3 Defrag competition, FPS Cup 03, is set to begin on March 8. This tournament will feature seven maps, crafted by some of the best mappers in the community. The event will run for seven weeks, with one round per week. To mark the occasion, a stunning promotional trailer has been created by Bliccer. Prepare your skills, warm up your hands, and get ready for the challenge. The full schedule will be announced closer to the tournament's start.

New defrag movie by Nachos featuring demos from FPS Cup.

Hello everyone =) I'm glad to present this defrag movie which contains my very best tech strafe demos from all time.

There is quite a history behind this movie from the timeI first saw "torture" maps and considered them some kind of a joke to a point where I found myself not trying to just finish them but finish them as fast as possible. I feel like the tech strafe segment of defrag is pretty much underrated so I always wanted to show it from my point of view, which I tried to do in this movie.

The name of the movie comes from the name of my favorite map boris_cab1, and so the movie includes quite a lot of smaller parts of that map, as well as famous pea_xpanicx map and one map made by kairos. All demos presented in the movie are currently world records on q3df.org.


P.S. For everyone who wonders where did I find all these skyboxes, a lot of them I took from custommapmakers.org. Many thanks to them, they've got a really nice collection!

This is my new Defrag movie, which consists of one run through the map fittingly called Boris Torture Extreme. Unexpectedly for me, demo of my run was already uploaded on youtube and posted here.
