In case there are some Urban Terror fans out here I'd like to inform you that tonight at 21:00 CET, France will be attempting to win their fourth NationsCup back to back. Jehar will be joining me to cover the event on twitch.tv.

Now that the captains have been elected for the national teams it is time to see which nations will be facing off in the group stages. Just in case there are some (ex) Urban Terror players here who don’t regularly check in on http://urbanterror.info , I thought I'd post this here.

The NationsCup has always been the high point of competitive Urban Terror but it was uncertain whether or not it would be held this year due to the problems at ClanBase. Unfortunately they could not be resolved in time. Urban Zone has stepped in and offered to host it. Sotone, the CB game supervisor, has joined Urban Zone to make sure the NC will run smoothly.

Normally the run up to the NationsCup starts in December with the captain applications however due to the issues there is now a time constraint. In order to catch up the application period is shortened to January 5th, 2014. You can find more information on how to apply as captain of your nation on the Urban Zone website.
