It has come to everyone's attention that the last update has been very unstable and causing issues such as connection problems and a faulty spawn system on some maps amongst other things.
Would it not be safe to say that it is purpose built malicious code for what ever reason that may be in place ?
If the net code and behavior has managed to be intact for the majority of time QuakeLive has been around then why has it all of a sudden turned to shit. It's not like it's complex code and it's not like it can't be fixed.
One point to note is the behavior of connection interrupted it is constantly showing intermittent behavior when everyone's connections are otherwise stable and intact when used outside of the game. It's not like the fact quake is Standalone is a valid reason for this to occur. I could think of many reasons why this sort of behavior is apparent, I'm sure you could too. To the people who don't experience any of these issues, Lucky them.
What is your take on this?
Could this be an attempt to disengage the game in preparation for Reborn? Who knows :)
