I've had a pro account now for just about 2 years and this is what happens. Anyone else in this same predicament?

Hey guys, just picked up that 24" asus 144hz monitor. I was able to get the 144hz working and played a few games of quack.

The main difference I'm noticing besides hitting rails easier is that all the simple items look like shit.. kinda fuzzy almost lol I don't know if the monitor is so good it makes quake look worse or if I have some kind of off setting. Anyone else experience this?

What the heck man? I get that you are super busy with your final year of Uni.. I've been there :) But why does it take FOREVER for you to upload the games that have been casted the past few months?

I'm in the States so I can never really watch the videos live so I usually watch them at night. I'm all caught up and waiting, waiting, waiting for the Grand Final between Cyper and Evil.

Come on man upload that stuff! You have fans waiting, or at least just me! :)

Also, if you could label the videos slightly different too because I do like to go from beginning to end with tournaments, but if I do see the grand final labeled as Cyper VS evil or a playoff labeled Cypher VS Clawz I will already know who won and it takes the excitement away :(

Now that all of the new steam players aren't even touching QL anymore because you neckbeards don't know shit about marketing can you change QL back to the way it was a few months ago??

Personally, I do like the LG nerf, but the loadouts the VO and the timers.... can you just get rid of them? Hell you could even bring LG back up to 7dmg if it makes everyone happy because I highly doubt you made the suits happy with the lack of new players staying let alone paying for a pro membership lol.

At least make someone happy here.

I know this thread has been brought up before, but I don't see a search function on this forum so forgive me for being a little redundant.

I was playing a guy last night, not going to name him, but 5 minutes into the game he had a 60% LG acc on me. OK I get it sometimes people get lucky and such, but I've never even seen the pros hit with that high of an acc consistently into a game.

So my question is how can you even spot these 'aimbots'? How do they work? If he truly had an aimbot on would his LG been 100%? Even if I'm am suspicious of him hacking how would I get a video of it from his POV? I know I'm supposed to send it to support@quakelive, but it just seems futile unless I somehow had a buddy in there capturing it from his POV in a duel right?

Also, I went on his profile and noticed that he started his account in May of this year and is already 1630 ELO in duels... Wtf? That just seems off to me as well.

Is anyone else experiencing this?? My ping will be 30 but as I'm playing if I engage in a fight the ole "connection interrupted" starts popping up like crazy and I'm just getting insane lag spikes... I tried going in a server alone with the lagometer up and I'd get spikes but the ping would still remain at 30 ping. WTF is this? This literally has killed this game for me because it's impossible to time items or just plain fight players when I'm skipping all over the fucking place.

Any suggestions I could try?

Typical corporation... let's see how much we can get for as little effort as possible. Why not at least boost the infrastructure just in case something like this happened?

So I was dueling a little bit yesterday, and now that QL is on Steam new players are jumping in duel servers which is great... except it's not at the same time.

I played this guy who told me he was "so good" with CS:GO and that it was his first QL game. I asked him a few questions like do you know how to time the items etc etc. We were also on Aero, and I was telling him how that map is not really friendly for new players. He said "screw it let's go".

Within 2 min he said "man this game fucking sucks and quit" after calling me a hacker multiple times.

id, steam, bethesda whoever the fuck runs this game now. Here is really what needs to be implemented so ignorant noobs realize they just suck instead of blaming people as hackers..

Add in some kind of anti hack system so these noobs realize we aren't hacking. I feel like the big misconception is that new players don't think there are any of these programs are embedded in QL and therefore everyone just hacks.

The kid just kept going on and on about "how the fuck do you always know where to shoot?!" "How do you always know where I am?!" "This is BS because QL doesn't have VCS(or whatever the hell he was saying).

This community is not going to grow if new players only play once and think that everyone is a hacker. So do something about it!
