Anyway while clearing out my loft I came across a rare gem of a DVD my friend in real life [ACF]Majorlag made for ACF when he was a member back in 2003. I believe it was never uploaded on to the Internet so this will bring back the exhilaration and joy RTCW gave many players who loved competitive gameplay and those fun public matches.

Be quick!! it's about the cheapest I've ever seen it if anyone still on an old monitor, this has a very fast response time!

I think many of us sometimes warm up offline with bots on whichever mode we choose like nightmare but I have an idea (which may be carp but I like it!)

I think someone mentioned there is a talented coder doing the bots on Doom so not sure if this is possible but...

Basically there have been many great players over the years in Quake, I would love to see these names we all remember having classic matches online and at major tournaments.

I think it would be a nice gesture to the community and these players to add bots to Quake Champions so we can play offline against these players. This would only work if they can analyse the demos of players such as Rapha, toxjq, evil, cypher, k1llsen, fazz, cooller, dahang, spart1e, l1nkin, stermy, Id_, zero4, agent, etc and make the bot play with their characteristics of each player like good timing or good aim or good movement etc

Who are your top 10 Quake players? And what are there characteristics as a Quake Player.

I know they are saying that during development they want to involve the top players in developing Quake Champions and I think this is a good way to repay them back plus it means practising duel offline would be fun albeit scary :))

When I moved my phone around in any direction, it was like I was sitting in the car myself and I was totally amazed by this!

Wiill this start to catch on and be used in youtube exclusive HD films where you are 'part' of the action and can look anywhere.

I'm not sure what other uses it has, but it's pretty cool technology.

Anyone have any cool game ideas?

I think sometimes games these days go for too much eye candy just think back to Prince of Persia, another world, leisure suit Larry lol, speedball, commando, etc etc

Anyway times change and within the fps genre I would love a free to play fps shooter where you can buy your character(s), imagine being able to join an unlimited universe travelling around like in elite but it's fps shooter style but you could also act like an undercover agent. You could choose from any character the developers managed to license like

Iron Man
Jack Bauer
Batman
Superman
Etc I'm sure you have better character ideas!

Each week they could have a poll for the next character to develop /endorse and have elements of teaming up with people you meet in the universe and forming alliances with real time voice chat etc spanning a real world heck even stopping terrorist attacks or maybe you just wanna mow the lawn at home :)

I noticed WolfCAM has an option to use S_UseOpenAL "1" and the audio seems a little bit clearer or maybe it is a placebo affect?! Why does WolfCAM have this kind of option when you can't change it with Quake Live Game?

It got me thinking...do you think id software plan to update the audio in anyway for Quake Live or their next FPS game?
