best middle mouse and side buttons? (2 comments)
Posted by ratman1337 @ 21:24 CDT, 6 September 2015 - iMsg
Looking for a mouse to play poker with. Currently using the razer abyssus and the middle mouse click on this takes so much force and it just feels shit. Looking for something with a real light middle mouse click and nice side buttons.

Abyssus 2014 & G100s RAPID REVIEW (4 comments)
Posted by ratman1337 @ 20:02 CST, 23 February 2015 - iMsg
So having small hands and coming from a WMO I was looking for a replacement. So I tried these two out and here are the results.

Abyssus:

Cons:
Shape isn't for everyone. It's very palmable and almost a combination between an ergonomic and ambidextrous mouse. Razer seem to go for aesthetic designs that can be negative to the mouse.

Clicking in middle mouse button takes a little to much force and causes a lot of vibration within the mouse.

Pros:
Perfect glide and feet
Cord is light and flexible
Perfect weight for it's size
Weight distribution is decent
Sensor feels better than the G100s
Switches are a treat to use
Feels really sturdy
Looks nice

The side grips are decent compared the old deathadders glossy ones were if you are sweating it's like trying to hold a lubed up dildo.

G100S:

Pros:
Shape +1 (most claw users would love this)
Sensor

Cons:
Build quality (feels almost hollow)
Switches feel terrible compared the abyssus
Cable was annoying because it was stiff
Weight distribution was horrible
Feet don't glide well at all
Looks bad

Overall the G100s really does feel like a budget mouse with excellent shape and decent sensor. If only there was premium edition of the G100s that improved on the quality of the mouse.

The Razer Abyssus is really a treat to use that is if you can deal with the unusual shape that are present in most Razer mice.

mouse with similar shape to g100s? (15 comments)

love the narrow shape and how the sides slope inwards a bit like this \ / it's just very easy to grasp.
Tried the deathadder was to heavy and large with rounded sides.
Zowie AM felt like trying to grasp a pan cake. Very flat and heavy with rounded curves.

Heavy vs Light mouse (34 comments)
Posted by ratman1337 @ 19:25 CST, 18 January 2015 - iMsg
Wouldn't a heavy mouse offer more control over a very light mouse as you are less likely to over compensating aim. I have a g100s and removed the weight and replaced the mouse feet and I'm wondering if it was the wrong choice. It's almost like it's hard to aim pixel perfect now because a little to much force can cause my aim to be off where as with a heavy mouse and a slow glide I had more feedback from my mouse movements.

Looking for a specific mousepad. (6 comments)

Hey guys I'm after a wide mousepad similar to the razer goliathus https://encrypted-tbn1.gstatic.com/images?q=t...9ala8XRWxz
that is flat (don't like the sponge underneath as it usually warps over time) and ideally not have any graphic on it.

Can after market skates affect tracking? (21 comments)
Posted by ratman1337 @ 23:31 CST, 9 December 2014 - iMsg
I need to get some new feet for my g100s as of recently when I put a lot of pressure on the mouse it scrapes on my mousepad which never happened when I originally got it. However I'm concerned that changing the distance of the sensor to the pad can somehow alter it's tracking. I would imagine companies design this distance and mind so wouldn't changing it be undesirable? I don't think logitech sell replacement feet either.

Holding mouse on an angle? (18 comments)
Posted by ratman1337 @ 00:01 CDT, 31 October 2014 - iMsg
Will it affect my aim if I hold my mouse on an angle. For example imagine your arm and wrist completely straight out infront of you but your mouse is slightly tilted to an angle. My mouse is titled like this in my hand / but not to such a degree. It just feels way more stable and relaxing like this but I'm wondering it it could affect my aim and consistency and wondering if I should change.
