After playing Quake more then 23 years I experienced something I never experienced before online ingame.

I played a game on some random Dogs server when a mod named: senzu mesingze did not liked how I played and asked me if I am retarded? Then called me a homo cause I have colors in my playername and after that a faggot!! WTF????.
He then tried kicking me with a vote that did not work then he kicked me as a mod.
After that I returned had a discussion to please not do that then he banned me for 3 hours!
Then I played again on a server where he was not around. He joined then started to harness me. Then banned me again cause he did not like the way I played.

I was pissed to say the least.

I decided to look up this discord to find out whos the guy paying for this shit.

Seems to be a Finnish guy called Naa.

Came down to this: his words: This is not a democracy this is a dictatorship if u don't like it get lost I got pissed and upset and told him to fuck himself and his server and don't anything to do with them anymore.
ITS A DANGEROUS PLACE. Dogs used to be from a Dutch guy ( rip) who worked at Xs4all a company known to respect democracy. This Finnish idiot don't even knows how to spell that word.

This guy has a Linkendin and work at some IT company . I am bout to send a cooperate mail to his director to let him know how e treat people. No slander just facts. Shall I do it? Can we get this server shut down somehow? F. these guys.

I have a stripped WIN 7 with ulta low latencxy with the latest stripped NVIDIA drivers. I have threaded optimization off in the NVIDIA ctrl Panel.

What seems to help is cap my framerate at 138 with Rivatuner ( my monitor is 144hz)( ingame cap com_maxfps 138 dont do the trick) but that sucks cause it gives inputlag!
r_primitives 2 does not help,
com_idlesleep 0 does not help
I deleted both qzconfig.cfg and repconfig.cfg and disabled steam cloud and tried again with a new config; same problem.

I think it has to do with the NVIDA drivers cause my win 7 is stripped down naked with no windows update etc.

No heres finally question:

What is the most stable NVIDIA driver for windows 7 to play Quake Live on. the populair 441.41?

I just finished FReethys Windows 7 guide to get the lowest input possible on any PC. I also did this for WIN 10 with the WIN 10 guide. ( now i have a dual boot PC)

Its true a stripped down Win 7 has lower inputlag then a stripped Win 10. Not only can u check this in Latenymon but u can actually feel it also just by moving a window up and down in Windows. I am pretty happy with that.
Now i want to put that ultra low input lag to good use in Quake Live!!!

Unfortunate Quake live on Win 7 gives lag spikes ( the red vertical lines in the lagometer) when someone new joins a server or just at random sometimes. On my stripped Win 10 Quake Live runs great but it would be so cool if i could just run it on WIN 7!

Anyone here got any idea what can cause the lagspikes in Win 7 when a new player joins the server? And on other random moments? On my Win 10 build QL runs great with the same exact in gamesettings.

I finally did it! i found out how to get the green line stable in the lagometer. Put your modem in Bridged mode and get a Ubiquiti Edgerouter X ( 50$) and enable the QoS option.
Its all about bufferbloat. If u dont get a A or A+ rating at the speedtest http://www.dslreports.com/speedtest u can forget about getting a straight green line. I had C grade first. After the Ubiquiti Edgerouter X its A. and finally a stable green line most of the time in QL!!!

From what i understand the green line in the lagometer should be as straight as a razorblade.

Mine is not! i dont get it!

I dont have any processes in the background running. Even with a ping of 14 i still have little bumps! My PC is high end with a 1080 GPU etc. I have a cable connection with more then 15 mbit upload and 100 mbit download! I am the only one on the network. I even turn off the wifi on my iPhone..

Please take a look at the screenshots! On the rightside of the screenshot u see the stats of the Asrock Xfastlan program that shows i am not running stuff on the background that can cause lag.

Whats also weird is that that the bumps differ in fullscreen and windowed mode!
