When I run ezQuake the game comes up, then it disappears. Task Manager shows no Quake application running, but there is a background process ezQuake v3.1 - QuakeWorld(r) Today (32 bit) running. It prevents me from trying to reopen Quakeworld. Tried running as admin; no difference.

Running windows 10. I played some QW last night for an hour or two and did not have this issue.

Any help is much appreciated.

I've been watching Kovaak's series on QW dueling. They make me interested to try the game out. I downloaded nQuake and got that working (the Steam version had always had graphical issues, so I hadn't bothered with it).

Are there any HUD/cfg experts who could help me get a similar HUD as is shown in this video?

I only started watching Quake three or so years ago. Over that time I've seen a bunch of VODs of old matches.

Would one of you old-timers/elder demons of this site explain why dm13 went by the name 'nodm9' circa 2008 when Quake 3 came back for a year? Why were the bridges to RL partly made of wood? What was the story there? I know the map originates with the dm13 from the original game and versions of it under that name were used in competitions (such as ESWC 2005 where cooller upset czm).

Does anyone know what interview or post-match av3k said something along the following lines about evil; "He does nothing special but at same time he does everything perfect"?

It might have been after a 125fps match on Zlive or at Dreamhack.
