Put together a Q3-style hud for Quakelive that I'm quite pleased with so I thought I'd share.

Update: Managed to get scores working correctly in FFA/Duel without the dots in front. Also removed the seemingly pointless frag/capture limit box. Instead I now have it pop up only when chat is visible.

How to play back Q3 demos

First map of the Nations Cup grand final.

Poland had complete control over railgun the first 10 minutes or so, preventing Sweden from keeping control over anything. In the end though, Sweden got a firm grip and started sniping themselves.

Yahoo killed off All-seeing Eye (57 comments)
Posted by fox @ 06:39 CDT, 16 May 2008 - iMsg
Last night it seems Yahoo delivered the final blow to ASE and took all of its scanners offline. Some quick googling confirmed it.

In March and April 2008 Yahoo! sent emails to ASE subscribers informing them that ASE will be discontinued as of 15th May 2008 and that a $15 refund will be issued to current subscribers.

ASE has now been officially shut down, including all of their tracking servers. All games that previously used the ASE service will now longer display server listing. Yahoo now redirects the ASE page to GameSpyArcade.

You can actually get the server list through qxmon.net and import it every now and then to ASE.
Still, what other server browsers are there for us quakers to use? Kquery seems to be unsupported these days aswell.
