First time I'm betting, most of this is completely new to me.
Note that in this article there is a discussion of betting systems, and none of them depend on Elo ratings at all. I'm using Elo as a simple way to derive some winpct (discussed below) for use with the betting systems.

Sooo I transitioned from Warsow Race to quake live b/c quake live. This movie is my first project since I felt the frags I had been getting were decent quality (mostly clan arena). I have not bothered learning the cams yet as I'm still getting used to quake in general, constructive criticism is welcome, there are always things to improve. I didn't have a direction or purpose with this video, just went with it as I played so I figured I might as well try my luck at getting some BYOC tickets to Qcon (worth a shot right?) rather than have it waste space on my HDD.

Also, I didn't know if I could get the time off to attend QCON this year until after registration ended- I really do want Qcon BYOC tickets- message/email me if you have any information ! ;D

The FACEIT Spring Season Week #9 is here and we only have one more event remaining in the Series until the Finale. This past week we saw Russia evil win his third straight event showing us just how dominant he is.

He easily made his way right to the finals where he beat Sweden Spart1e in three straight games to play an absolutely perfect tournament again by not losing a single map to any of his opponents. A remarkable feat considering the talent that has consistently been playing in the points series as of late.

This week I am sure will be just as entertaining so tune in or you can already sign-up now! The cup starts at 07:00 CST.

With the latest Quake Live update that came out this past week we have decided to run a Campgrounds Intel Cup. This will be held on Saturday at 08:00 CST, if you are interested in playing Signups are open now. The N.A. Cup is listed below, the semi final and final will be bo3.

Hey,

I was wondering if there where any news about Quakecon this year, so I tought I would check esreality.com out. When I enter the site I did see a post that said tox to Quakecon, so I read the post and understood that Redjuice was wondering if i would be intressted going to Quakecon this year, if he together with the rest of Quake supporters made
a effort to get me there.

I did get incontact with Redjuice after reading this, telling him that I would like to enter all Quake Live events if I had support to the events, I still enjoy competing in Quake it have always been my passion to enter events and try reach
as high as possible.

It glads me that people enjoy watching me play competetive still, and if people like redjuice and other Quake supporters want to
see me play again and make their own choice of suggesting to offer to collect the amount needed to travel to Quakecon this year.
Then im not going to dissapoint these Quake fans by turning them down.

So to make it all clear, I have been applying my email confirmation to ID that I wanna sign up for the Quake Live duel tournament
at Quakecon this year, and I will be trying my best to get back in good shape for the event but hopefully I can not only get back
but I want to improve and take a step forward. I will put down the time and focus to place as high as I possible can.

SpawnKill, a gaming organization which brings news and events to the Australia Australian community is proud to present the SNKL Invitational. A perfect time to test a new bracket system we have been looking at, so we will be running this invitational competition to uproar some interest from the lesser players. As some of you already noticed on #lan-prague the date for Prague TDM LAN #2 have been picked. The LAN will take place in District gaming cafe on 19-21.9.2014.


If there is anyone interested in any kind of help or sponsoring, please let me know. If you have any questions, feel free to ask in the comments or #lan-prague @ Quakenet. There's also a document with list of players who would like to attend, but don't have a team. Contact me if you want to be added or removed.

As the name of the event says, it is going to be primarily TDM lan, but if somebody comes up with a reasonable plan/offer for a duel tournament, I believe we can spare couple of computers for that. Sadly, there is not enough time for any other mode.

For those who missed the lan last year, feel free to check out some photos & reports from attendees. Let's turn this into another epic event!
