The

House Of Quake TDM league is finally back. After receiving some input from the community and changing the match days and map pool, the rules have been established and re-written, catering towards TDM community needs.

Matches will be played from Tuesday (division 3) till Thursday (division 1). First matches start this Tuesday, 15:00 CDT, 25 March 2014. A total of 24 teams signed up and are placed into 3 divisions.

Notable strong teams include Russia's finest TDMers bearing the name of Deliberate Murder, Swedish overlords l0wfly, some upsets could easily be made from teams such as unknown or Neutralizers.

To keep it short, there's a big, tasty cup of TDM awesomeness, ready to be devoured by the TDM thirsty scene.

"Hi everybody! My name is Aleksey. Beginning with February 2013 I am sponsoring the 125 FPS QuakeLive League (http://125fps.com) and provide almost all of the prize money from my own pocket. Why do I do this? Because like many of us I played the first Quake and even Duke Nukem)) on lan during my childhood. Time goes by and Im a grown-up man now with all the obligations that come along with it. Yet still I want the Quake community to flourish and reward me and all fans of the game with great matches, tournaments, reports etc.
When there are no tournaments with prize money the interest of players and fans decreases and thats what Im trying to combat. Im sure Im not the only one. The community has a lot of adult, successful people, as well as many young people who fell in love with the game.
I want to ask the community to help build on the foundation I and the 125fps team have laid and increase the prizes in the coming leagues. Fundraising is nothing new and is employed to collect funds for all kinds of events. Im sure that many of you will be happy to chip in a sum thats admissible for yourselves and even happier to follow the tournament you yourself made a contribution to!
Below are various ways to donate money for prize funds of 125fps.com leagues.
The reputation of the 125fps leagues guarantees for a fair distribution of funds. I myself will continue to contribute about 31500p(~1000$) every month.
I propose the following prize money distribution (31500RUR + donations)

15% of the donations will go towards the organization and coverage of the league, in particular recruitment of streamers.
Additionally I suggest limiting the prize pool of every league by 3500$. If there is more than 2500$ worth of donations the surplus funds get transfered to the next league. The biggest donators will be listed below every leagues prize pool (voluntary).
The fundraising will start with the announcement of the next league."

The leading

German force in the quake franchise just announced his retirement from gaming due to various events in real life. The now 27 year old player was active in Quake 3, Quake 4 and Quake Live games. Earlier today he set up a valedictory stream, sharing his opinions about previous tournaments, answering questions from the community and explaining his motives for leaving e-sports.
Game-wise he was known for his outstanding railgun usage, hitting inhuman shots which always left the spectators in awe. Insanely high acceleration and twitchy movement that brought headaches to viewers were also a prominent element in his game. Never arrogant and always helpful, the cheerful German decided to pursue another path, focusing more on his family and admitting that gaming was just too addictive and not worth it if you can't give your best and entertain the viewers, which prevented him from reaching desired goals in life.
Marcel "k1llsen" Paul also announced on facebook that he will remain active for another month, potentially taking part in April's 125FPS online duel league.

This trailer is for the upcoming promos about Premonition Quake3 Movie Project!
A lot has been done since the first trailer release and the project is still underwork.

The same song was used to give a "dejavu" feeling, original songs will be used in the promos! Also the content is very old and noobish, the promos will have diferent content of course.

K1llsen has announced his retirement today, on his stream, ( http://www.twitch.tv/k1llsen_ ) He has stated he will no longer play any quake cups and he will be dropping quake with numerous other games such as LeagueOfLegends. Hes reasoning was there are more important things to do in real life.
