So I've put together a very simple website for live streaming and brackets as well as a chat a room, it's even got a little addictive game on there (I guarantee you, no one can finish that with out losing a life)

I know some players from NA are wanting a competition from Spawn kill but it was difficult to locate the community and ESR is not too good for organising competitions from a specific country/state, So if you are from NA and still want the competition, drop into the chatroom and leave a message.

- mal lose to twister tie-match, thus from A1 group 1st Madball, 2nd Leszny and 3rd twister pass to gs2, gratz

12 March
- suddenly, gienon and fearzz (group C1) cant play GS1 and leave march14 league
- clawz is invited to group C1
- p0ni is invited to group C1 (!)
- p0ni have bad connect today and will play his C1 matches next days
- group A1 - tie3 for mal, ins and twister, but ins dont have time to play this tie3, so ins got defloses. Now winner of the twister vs mal match will pass to gs2 from 3rd place

11 March
- some new 125fps event rule
If a player isn't present at the scheduled time to play his group and gives no prior notice, the 125fps team reserves the right to replace him with a player who is able to start playing immediately.
- B1 group is finished. agent out, wooow! So 1st is sev3n, 2nd xron, 3rd zanzan, gratz
- mal played almost all his postponed A1 matches, and now he wait leszny for last match. Btw if he lose to leszny - it will be tie-3 for 3rd place at group, for mal, twister and ins.

"Hi everybody! My name is Aleksey. Beginning with February 2013 I am sponsoring the 125 FPS QuakeLive League (http://125fps.com) and provide almost all of the prize money from my own pocket. Why do I do this? Because like many of us I played the first Quake and even Duke Nukem)) on lan during my childhood. Time goes by and Im a grown-up man now with all the obligations that come along with it. Yet still I want the Quake community to flourish and reward me and all fans of the game with great matches, tournaments, reports etc.
When there are no tournaments with prize money the interest of players and fans decreases and thats what Im trying to combat. Im sure Im not the only one. The community has a lot of adult, successful people, as well as many young people who fell in love with the game.
I want to ask the community to help build on the foundation I and the 125fps team have laid and increase the prizes in the coming leagues. Fundraising is nothing new and is employed to collect funds for all kinds of events. Im sure that many of you will be happy to chip in a sum thats admissible for yourselves and even happier to follow the tournament you yourself made a contribution to!
Below are various ways to donate money for prize funds of 125fps.com leagues.
The reputation of the 125fps leagues guarantees for a fair distribution of funds. I myself will continue to contribute about 31500p(~1000$) every month.
I propose the following prize money distribution (31500RUR + donations)

15% of the donations will go towards the organization and coverage of the league, in particular recruitment of streamers.
Additionally I suggest limiting the prize pool of every league by 3500$. If there is more than 2500$ worth of donations the surplus funds get transfered to the next league. The biggest donators will be listed below every leagues prize pool (voluntary).
The fundraising will start with the announcement of the next league."

The March 2014 Standard arena rotation is now online. On the first Monday of each month, we will be cycling the Standard arena pool. Rather than only having access to the same standard arenas day in and day out, each month we will now feature 26 arenas selected as playable for Standard-level matches.

Newly released arenas will remain exclusive for at least three months, but every other arena is eligible to be included in the cycle.

The March map pools have had slight changes made to them I hope you enjoy them, they will be the same throughout the month so if you don't normally play a map and want to practice it in a competitive way to see how you measure up give it a try.

Last weeks fun Cup on Saturday was a Sinister Cup and it was well received, this Saturday we will be running a Lost World Cup so look for it and sign on up. Semi-Final and Finals are still Bo3.

The new cups format and map pools listed below will take effect starting today. All the cups for the whole week are posted on the site, so feel free to head on over and take a look. Remember all these points you win can be exchanged for prizes, such as Razer gear in the FACEIT Shop.
