Finding the best CSGO gambling sites in 2019 is not that easy. CSGO gambling has had a chequered past to say the least, with many sites being shut down and penalised because of illegal activity.

There is clearly a demand among some Counter-Strike lovers to bet on their favourite game but for the sector to be sustainable long-term, CSGO gambling sites must comply with the laws - primarily for the safety and security of esports fans but also for the sake of themselves.

SpawnKILL - King of POP (1 comment)
Posted by spekyr @ 22:52 CST, 7 January 2014 - iMsg
SpawnKill ODC #5: King of Pop will be played this Sunday and it's the last competition of the season... which means highest points after this tournament will win the prize from mwave.com.au!

Map Pool:

Blood Run
Aerowalk
Furious Heights

After winegum received a bonus 40pt for competing four weeks in a row, he's leading the leader board on 60 pts, followed by Camma on 40. Camma will need to win this week to claim the prize... however, we've decided to add a twist this week to make things interesting!

For the King of Pop we will reward every pummy with points toward the leaderboard to break up any possible deadlock on leaderboard while also giving a chance (however slight!) to other competitors to take away the prize.

Pummy lower seed: 1pt
Pummy higher seed: 2pt

Hit the SpawnKill Facebook and watch all the coverage on diabz live! (signups will open on the day)

Last cup of the season before we start planning to run an NA competition to see how it goes, It will continue regardless in Aus after this, just the rules and map pool system may be subject to change.

QuakeSM: a pretty big announcement! (60 comments)
Posted by Minimia @ 14:14 CST, 7 January 2014 - iMsg
When the Swedish Championship of Quake Live was first announced, players and fans alike inquired about the possibility to host a LAN and we have come up with a solution.

Basically it is a half-LAN, half-online tournament, which means the finals can be played either in the Stockholm Esport Arena or from home, just like the deal was from the beginning.

Non players are welcome (there's no entrance fee) and can attend the event, meet the players and chat with United Kingdom Zoot who will fly in for the event.

Update: Some people have been asking when the LAN event takes place, and it's on January 25th. That is the finals day, when there is only 8 players left in the tournament.

I thought I should tell you guys about speedrunning, it's a community that's getting bigger and bigger for every year. Speedrunning is to complete a game as fast as possible without cheating, you may use glitches inside the game but no cheat codes. There's over 900 speedruns over at Speed Demos Archive and probably more that hasn't been submitted yet. The guys over at SDA got two events every year where they gather people from all over the world for about 6-7 days and play video games, these are called AGDQ, SGDQ, Awesome Games Done Quick and Summer Games Done Quick. Last year at AGDQ 2013 they managed to raise $448,423.27 for the Prevent Cancer Foundation and Summer Games Done Quick managed to raise $257,181.07 for Doctors Without Borders and I thought that if I wrote about this there's a chance they could make even more money at the next events for a great cause. The point of all this is that I want more people to join the speedrunning community. I've done a couple of interviews with a group of really active speedrunners and I hope you'll like it.

The marathon is now over and I'm happy to announce that they managed to raise over $1 million, $1006990 to be exact. I'm proud to be a part of this community and I'm proud of all of you who supported this!

I hope you got inspired enough to watch some of these awesome runs and hopefully you'll be speedrunning very soon! I will post some helpful links below to help you find everything you need to know about speedrunning.

SPL KotH Finals (35 comments)
Posted by esdf @ 06:04 CST, 3 January 2014 - iMsg
No, it's not SK Planet Proleague just adding an event, it's the first ever Brood War Proleague finals after the switch back in 2012, starting today at 07:00 CDT. Sponsored by SBENU and Sonic, the Proleague features all of your favorite teams, from Jaedong Hwaseung Oz to MBC Game. Keep in mind that this is just a form of pre-season and that the actual SBEN Proleague season has yet to start.

I'm pretty sure that you're wondering why do the teams have old names? Well, Sonic made sure that old teammates are gathered under same banner as they have been during Brood War. Unfortunately, the sponsors haven't returned along with the players, so that means KT, STX, etc are not actually sponsoring the teams. The two teams that have qualified to finals are MBC Game and STX Soul and are both filled with good players, so tune in and enjoy the games!

A Duel Guide for CA Players (147 comments)
Posted by Memento_Mori @ 10:21 CST, 2 January 2014 - iMsg
This Quake Live guide targets primarily Clan Arena players who are or may be interested in playing Duel. I'm writing it as I've been seeing more and more players willing to start playing duel, but having troubles with the initial steps. As most come from CA, I felt like making a guide like this, with the hope it will prove useful to some players.

Q3 IBSP 44 TO IBSP43 Q3IHV HELP (3 comments)
Posted by RealityJames @ 17:30 CST, 1 January 2014 - iMsg
Hello

I was interested in making a making a conversion of Q3TEST 1.03 or Q3TEST 1.05 IBSP 44 to Quake III IHV IBSP 43

Right after changeing the IBSP version with a Hex Editor
i get this
ERROR: MOD_LoadBmodel: funny lump size

i did found this bsp that is a conversion from Q3TEST 1.03 as Q3TEST1 and it was named conv.bsp and they have diffrent sizes must be a conversion or something idk

Q3TEST1 - 5.05mb
CONV - 5.47mb

I wonder if somebody could reverse engineer the IHV Bsp Format and write a Converter like Q2toQ3IHV or Q3Test2Q3IHV if it was possible

If you want the conv.bsp and Quake III IHV build
contact me xbryangamesx@gmail.com

Best Regards
