OMG it's time for a ctf draft cup!

It's been a while since the last OMG ctf draft cup! Come join us for some celebratory action on sunday the 21st of july. The cup will run the same way they've always been ran, check below for details.

We are going with the same format as previous cups, in other words; you HAVE to sign in to https://qlstats.net/ and make your stats public. Otherwise creating teams will be a complete nightmare, would also be nice of you if could try and play a couple of games before the cup because of earlier mentioned reason.

Hope to see you there, bring a friend or relative.

The reason for this is Serious really weak shaft which is only 63% while Sanchez would have 100% because QC is a noob game compared to Q4

The Quake Late Show 1v1 cup will be played this Saturday, 29.06: https://challonge.com/quakelateshow (registration already started, check-in will start 2 hrs before the cup).

This is double elimination Quake Champions (timelimit) 1v1 cup, matches starting 18:00 MSK (17:00 CET). There is a small prize pool, but Quake is not about the money nowadays... However, it's 4,500 RUR.

It's summer already and it's time for the next Beginners Cup! We'll be hosting

Beginners Duel Cup #8 on June 22, 2019 starting at 10:00 CST. As usual, the tournament format is a double elimination bracket, with a BO3 upper bracket, BO1 lower bracket, and BO5 Grand Finals.

Register: Players must qualify as Beginner and join the CPMA Discord Server & register via

Challonge. Please message Magikarp(@Magikarp#1497) on Discord to be given the tournament role and be added to the cup.

The map pool will be cpm24, pukkat2, eizdm4, Hektik, fatamorgana.

About the game (from Steam store page):

Glitch, a fast and minimal arena first person shooter. Influenced by Quake and Unreal Tournament, Glitch is designed to encapsulate what makes AFPS great, and leave out what doesn't.

Gamemodes include duel, DM, TDM and the new CTB (capture the balls, an evolution of CTF).

The focus is on gameplay and content instead of high fidelity details. Movement is non-linear, with an initial flick-dodge, step jumping (aka double jumping) and speed building via 'glitching'™. Air control is medium-high and autojumping is a thing. Weapons are the "holy trinity" plus a pulse starting weapon, and the ability to combo a rocket with rail. Maps are iconic archetypes of the genre. Hitsounds and hitmarkers on the way. Learn the game with HUD item timers.

Glitch is designed by competitive gamers for constant good games between players of similar experience. So if you've got a friend or two you love to shoot, it's for you. You don't need a thousand concurrent players for a good time.
