The Qualification Round of 125 FPS April League is finished, and we starts 1st Group Round.
Four groups (with 6 players in each) will play bo1 matches from 8th till 11th April, 3 players from every group will pass to the next stage.

"C@M'D" is the long awaited frag video of Australian Quake Live player

Cameron "Camma" Hockley. Camma, along with his brother

Frazer "fraZe" Hockley are two of the most well known and successful players in the Australian and New Zealand region.

After building an unprecedented amount of hype in the Australian Quake Live community, C@m'd encountered countless problems and failures to materialize due to various setbacks with editors.The task of creating and editing the montage was finally undertaken by Reuben 'S4' Wakefield and completed after close consultation with Cam about his vision for the movie.

Summers officially over down under and we've all been working on our tans for the upcoming SydLAN #2 this month. To kick of the Month of April we have had our recent online duel competition come to it's closing. Which saw

Daniel "Dandaking" De Sousa take on Cameron "Camma" Hockley. Most of you would know about Cam's brother

Frazer "Fraze" Hockley and his recent trip to Europe. Due to this trip Fraze was unable to partake in the competition, leaving the opportunity for his brother to steal the lime light. 3rd Place decider also went on between long time Quake Liver players

Matthew "Haymo" Hayman and

After a while I'm back with another Quakeworld movie. Unlike Sweetheart, this one has been made mainly to have fun with the synchronization on a track I like, and to use the camera tool from ezQuake. So, even if it has been a LOT of work, it's really short, and has a 1 minute intro/outro. I hope you'll enjoy it though!

EQL16 divisions set and league started (14 comments)

The spring season of European Quake League (EQL) has just started as we saw the 20 teams signed up getting sorted into two separate divisions last Sunday, with the league officially starting this week.

Division 1 consists of 11 teams and will feature an A and a B playoff where the teams ending up on spot 1-4 advance to the A playoff, while the teams ending up on spot 4-8 goes through to the B playoff. In division 2 there are 9 teams and there will be one big playoff featuring all the top 8 teams, leaving one poor team missing out on the fun. In the group stages the teams play eachother once in best of three maps while playoff games are played best of five maps. The playoffs are scheduled to begin on the 12th of May.

The premier game is yet to be played, but if one is curious to know what to expect then

The FACEIT Quake Live Winter Season Championship Finale is upon us, as the best of the last few months' FACEIT Sunday Cups will come together to determine who is the Winter Champion! This will all take place on Sunday 7 April, starting at 03:00 CST.

The eight players qualified are evil, dem0n, Cooller, pavel, Guard, Cypher, matr0x and twister (replacing Fraze, who is back in Australia). They will be placed in two groups, with all matches in Best-of-3 and streamed. The top two will head into a playoff stage, with the matches taking place in Best-of-5.

B1aze is organizing one day duel tournaments. They are typically themed around a single map per day, and they happen once or twice or thrice a week.

The latest edition of any given week is accessible on quakephil.com/qwna and everyone from North America is welcome to join. We play on N.A. servers. Sometimes they are seeded, sometimes not so much, sometimes we have double eliminations, sometimes not. But one thing is always guaranteed: telefrags, bores, and good games!

"The April 2013 Standard arena rotation is now online. On the first Monday of each month, we will be cycling the Standard arena pool. Rather than only having access to the same standard arenas day in and day out, each month we will now feature 24 arenas selected as playable for Standard-level matches.

Newly released arenas will remain exclusive for at least three months, but every other arena is eligible to be included in the cycle."
