The 23rd FACEIT Quake Live Sunday Cup is coming up. Russia Evil is still far ahead in the lead with 78 points, but last week Belgium dem0n showed the world his dominance and won the cup despite players such as Russia Cooller, Belarus Cypher, Poland Av3k and France Strenx being signed up.

We are back with the stream this week on FACEIT TV with United Kingdom Daniel "ddk" Kapadia and Portugal Bruno "ins" Pereira who will be going live at 09:30 CDT.
Update: ins (obviously) missed his flight so he won't be coming.

The FACEIT Sunday Cup #23 will be kicking off at 09:00 CDT, while check-ins open at 08:00 CDT. You can currently already sign-up. If you are not playing, be sure to tune in to find out who will take one step closer to qualify for the $500 Winter Championship Finale.

Just a friendly reminder to all who have signed up for Hektik, the event begins at 20:00 CDT, 10 March 2013. Sign ups are still welcomed and any matches that we do not finish during the live show can be played over the course of the week. All matches that are played during the remainder of the week must be approved by me please private message me on IRC a link to your match from the QL website. Any open matches at the beginning of the next scheduled event will not count for points. Remember its all based on points so the more matches you play the better off you will be!

March 16th, 2013, is going to meet us with an invitational 16 slots Duel Tourney "Quake Renaissance". We're going to send out 12 direct invites, the other 4 slots are open for those who manage to get top places on qualifying tourneys taking place on March 2nd and 9th. Tourney will be organized by deliberate murder and is privately sponsored.

"The March 2013 Standard arena rotation is now online. On the first Monday of each month, we will be cycling the Standard arena pool. Rather than only having access to the same standard arenas day in and day out, each month we will now feature 24 arenas selected as playable for Standard-level matches.

Newly released arenas will remain exclusive for at least three months, but every other arena is eligible to be included in the cycle."

Here are the FACEIT Daily Cups for 4 to 7 March. All the cups will kick off at 14:30 CDT, with check-ins opening at 13:30 CDT.

Monday will feature the Level 4 and Level 8 duel cups, while on Wednesday the other two levels, 6 and 10, will be able to face each other off.

As like last week we will also be hosting two Clan Arena cups. On Tuesday the CA 2v2 Test Cup will take place, while on Thursday teams of four can get their fix. You can create a team in the right top corner, be sure to only add one extra person to the team (2/4 - depending which cup - players per team max.). If you are already in a team, you will have to quit it. Be sure all players check-in.
