Hello everybody,
My name is Michael Lawrenson and I’m the founder of a brand new gaming website – www.esagamer.com

The website has been designed to provide free entry, cash prized tournaments – which allow gamers to participate in regular free entry cash prized tournaments in a ranked and policed community. In addition, the ESA operate pay to play tournaments and head-to-head cash matches, which we take 0% commission from.

A big part of our site is the added social networking features. The ESA provide teams with free, automatically updated micro websites, where teams can post their streams, advertise their sponsors and link social networking sites. The microsite profiles allow teams to become multi-gaming organisations in a grouped profile – we have even provided a financial management system, which allows organisation owners to manage their sub-teams credit accounts.

There has been a lot of work, effort and money into establishing a website which goes beyond noise. The system provides a modern environment for all skill levels to communicate and win money.

I’m looking to go live in January, where we’ll launch with cash prizes and reveal even more about our model, which we cannot disclose right now. It truly is promising.

Between now and launch – the ESA need to accumulate as many visitors, pre-registered accounts and Facebook followers as possible to strengthen our proposition for sponsorship. So please, tell your friends and check out our facebook page, I promise you will not be disappointed.

The December 2012 Standard arena rotation is now online. As always, on the first Monday of each month, id software will be cycling the Standard arena pool. Rather than only having access to the same standard arenas day in and day out, each month they will now feature 21 arenas selected as playable for Standard-level matches.

Newly released arenas will remain exclusive for at least three months, but every other arena is eligible to be included in the cycle.

Standard Map Pool:
Start date: Dec. 3, 2012
End date: Jan. 7, 2013

As you might all know, on 16th December FACEIT will be hosting the Legends Cup. Eight oldschool players will face off to determine who the ultimate legend is.

So far we have announced Russia Anton "Cooller" Singov and Italy Alessandro "stermy" Avallone as the first two invited players and that casting will be provided by United Kingdom Stuart "TosspoT" Saw, United Kingdom Daniel "ddk" Kapadia and United Kingdom Xavier "Zoot" Dhorne.

Today we are happy to bring you two more invited players, who we are very excited about.

Second Place: $15,000
Third / Fourth: $8,000

The first semi-final between Europe colwn (France aKm, France winz, Italy stermy) and United States of America Planet Xpress (United States of America Buds, United States of America Talespin, United States of America Vince) was already played and won by colwn.

As previously announced, we want to continue with the series of new duel maps tournaments. On Wednesday this week, it will be the turn of Windsong Keep, by United States of America Tom "Phantazm11" Perryman.

The cup will feature a cup_gold 100 $ sponsored by Switzerland Memento_Mori. The tournament will run on Challonge, which has been recently integrated into Targetquake (read the player info). Targetquake will provide coverage and admins to run the cup.

As I am sure some of you have heard we here at Targetquake have decided to move on from having our events hosted/powered by CSN. We appriciate all of the great events that they have helped us with and we wish them all the best in the future with their new ventures.

To start off with we have renamed to Targetquake Productions. The main reason for this is we are now being asked to host events for other players/organizers in the community. We will still bring you the same great weekly format that you have come to expect, but we are also going to try and involve alot more people from within the community.

I am also pleased to say that all the admins from CSN who have helped out with all of the Targetquake events have teamed up with us here at Targetquake Productions. You will still see/hear from the same friendly admins that you have been interacting with, and hopefully a few more as we try to grow and take on more challenges.

What does this mean to the Quakelive Community? Well nothing really we will still be bringing the same great events that you have come to expect from us. There will just be a few minor changes on how you the players will have to deal with the events. For more information on what players competing in our events need to do please give this a quick read Player Info.

Our bracket/sign-up system will be temporarily held at Challonge.com, until our new home is completed hopefully by mid February. So if you compete in our events and are not registered with them please do so when you have time.

We have tried to make everything as easy as possible for the players involved with the events hosted by Targetquake Productions. Everything except the actual sign ups for the event is completely accessible on our site. Vod's and Demo's will now be hosted on the site also making the site almost a one stop destination for all our events. All of us involved at Targetquake Productions are very excited about the new things we are trying and we welcome any and all feedback from the community, so if you have an idea on how to possibly improve our ventures please feel free to get in contact with us.

The FACEIT Quake Live Sunday Cup #10 is coming up this weekend! In Sunday Cup #9, we saw a lot of big names absent due to DreamHack Winter, and Vo0 didn't let that chance go by, taking the win over agent in the final.

We don't have much changes to last week. It will kick off at 09:00 CDT and check-ins open at 08:00 CDT. Sign-ups are currently already open. Note: If you are having problems logging in, go to FACEIT.com, log in (right top) and then click the link in the post.

Poland ShadyAK & Croatia esdf take turns at talking about the recently finished Dreamhack Winter tournament and two of the biggest stories that happened there - Russia Evil winning and Poland Av3k retiring, as well as production values and what may have gone on behind the scenes. As Limbus is currently played in all leagues, we want to inform you about an upcoming change.
We thought through some ideas of how we could let the quad-carrier get out alive slightly easier, without making crucial changes to the map. The outcome was that we switched the 'broken' window (near grenade launcher) directly to quad.


-It should reduce the rush and spam from that direction when Quad is about to spawn
-You should be able to defend Quad better
-Harder to steal LG (from RA/RG position)
-Can still hit the lucky shot thru the window.
-GL Area has a better flow as the window was replaced by a doorway
-Can use the balcony to take out the railer etc etc
