With great joy and excitement, I’m here today to present you FACEIT: Legends Cup. The best of the past will go up against each other to bring you an awesome show!

FACEIT will be bringing together eight of the best Quakers the game once had to offer and let them go head-to-head with each other! We will be announcing the eight oldschool players over the coming weeks via our Facebook page.

FACEIT: Legends Cup will be brought to you live by us on FACEIT TV on 16th December. The show will be casted by the by now familiar duo United Kingdom Xavier "Zoot" Dhorne and United Kingdom Daniel "ddk" Kapadia, but as an extra surprise, United Kingdom Stuart "TosspoT" Saw will be joining them.

As mentioned before, we will be giving out more details in the coming weeks, but for now we can give you two of the eight names attending already.

The FACEIT Quake Live Sunday Cup #9 is coming up this weekend! Previous edition we saw a final between pavel and baksteen, which was won by the former.

This Sunday Cup will be a challenge for some of the newer players, as most of the big dogs are still in Sweden for DreamHack. We will keep the map pool the same as previous weeks this Sunday, but for the next edition we will look at it again. It will kick off at 09:00 CDT and check-ins open at 08:00 CDT. Sign-ups are currently already open.

The stream will be hosted by United Kingdom Daniel "ddk" Kapadia and United Kingdom Xavier "Zoot" Dhorne. It will kick off at 09:30 CDT.

The ESL together with the developers, Illfonic, are happy to announce a €4000 tournament for Nexuiz.

Following on from the update earlier this week which brought high performance UGLY mode and made the previously pay DLC a part of the regular game, the developers are eager to try to jump-start a competitive community for the game.

Nexuiz is currently in the Steam autumn sale for €5 (half price) or €15 for the 4 pack.


Early sign up is open here. When the dates of the cups have been fixed the post will be updated and everyone signed up will be mailed.

Illfonic, the small studio behind the game, have been working hard on improving the game since it's release in May. Their aim is to bring deathmatch back into the spotlight, with a fast, fun and visually attractive game built on the latest CryENGINE 3.
